This was better than I thought it would be considering I hated the FMC going into it 🤣 In the first book Chrysantha was unbearable but you grow to like her in this one! I saw a third book is coming out eventually and I will probably read it 🥰

Although I read The Shadows Between Us years ago, I recall really enjoying it. I was able to pick back up in the world quickly without re-reading it. The wit and banter is strong in this story, and I love the theme of female empowerment. It doesn‘t hurt that the Fairyloot version is absolutely gorgeous too!

Just as fantastic as the first one! I only wish there were more villainous sisters to get more of these books.

Well, here comes Levenseller once again giving me exactly what I want!
She is the best at creating fun, fast, teen adventure-fantasy-romance, so if that is what you are looking for, you should read this one - and every other book of hers.
My only complaint is they kept the same audiobook narrator for this book in the series, and she is not one I enjoy listening to. So I‘d suggest reading over listening.
