June was a solid reading month for me… I read 15 books!

Man, it hurts to see how close I got to not one, but two bingos this month. But! I read both my #bookspin and #doublespin and am super happy with how much I did manage to read over all 🤓 #bookspinbingo

I‘m late, but I‘m joining the #JoyousJune Readathon. This is my best shot at reading before my big trip to Buffalo & Wisconsin so I‘d like to soak in as many books as I can before the road trip.

I previous finished Woman World, The Friendship Pact and The Merciless ones.

Currently reading: The Best Bad Things, Bad Blood and a Solitude of Wolverines.

Jumping into this challenge to start my summer! June 22 I‘m out of school… between now and then I‘d love to finish 2 books. From there, I‘ll adjust for my summer schedule 😎 #bigjunereadathon

It‘s once again been a while, but I have 13 days of school left to teach and I cannot wait to finally have days back to myself and my books 😊 I love teaching, but wow do I need a break after this year. Looking forward to making a dent in my TBR and joining a few readathons from the beach.

On that note, I‘ll be joining in the #BigJuneReadathon My yearlong readathon goals have been pretty much shot to shit since March. I‘ve only read in 5months what I‘d read in less than two months in a good year!😱So on that depressing stat, my goals are:

Here‘s my #bookspin #doublespin #bookspinbingo - I actually started reading no. 13 this month but not got very far so keeping it on in the hope I can get it finished by end of June!

My June 2021 #tbr and let‘s be honest, I am so behind they prob won‘t get read this month.

Yay! It‘s time for another choose your own goals readathon! I have six books on hold, including this month‘s #authoramonth selection, so I want to clear my plate of the 4-5 books I have going at the moment. One is ten minutes from the end!

Also want to nail down the #LMPBC Group I slate of historical fiction.

I read 12 books for the month of June. They were all really good except I thought A Discovery of Witches and There There were just mediocre for completely different reasons. The City We Became stands out as the most original.

I can‘t believe I actually read 12 books this month. It felt like the slowest, worst month in ages, probably since I started half a dozen other books and put them aside for now. An even split between print and audio, but only 3 for #MountTBR. My favorites are in the top row, but everything I finished was good - nothing less than 3 1/2 stars.

This was a real audio-heavy month, but that‘s okay! One day my attention span will recover from plague and unrest but June wasn‘t to be!

I‘ve been a bit MIA lately, I‘ve been bitten hard by the gardening bug which I‘m also using for physiotherapy goals to try and build up my strength again. But it‘s at the cost of my reading coz I‘m too tired and sore to even pick up a book😱So this #JoysOfJune #readathon has come at the perfect time. My goals for this are:
🌸 Finish at least one book!
🌸 Get in (hopefully) 24hrs of reading time🤞

One last post before bed. For my #juneproposedtbr, I plan to listen to How to be an Antiracist by Ibram X. Kendi and Why I‘m No Longer Talking to White People About Race by Rene Eddo-Lodge. For my print reading, I‘ll be pulling from this stack of Litsy gifts - the books I‘ve received in swaps, just because, and birthday/holiday gifts from Littens, but haven‘t yet read. I won‘t get to them all, but I like choices. 😍

Happy June, Littens! Just settling back home after all the fun of NYC. June is both Pride month and Audiobook month (and in Virginia so far it's also Hot as Hades month). Libro FM is hosting a summer audiobook reading challenge and I am all in!
