Spinning Away

The #bookspin gods were not especially kind to me, but one of the books on my TBR does count for #4 - The StoryGraph Reads the World challenge, so I can‘t be too mad. Assuming, of course, that a book I started last month but am only 22% of the way through counts for this month‘s bookspin??
#doublespin is an add to my TBR and I think I‘ll have some tough decisions about which book clubs or library books go unread. 😮‍💨

DGRachel @thearomaofbooks I read the first in the series and thought it was pretty good. Definitely good enough to continue with the series. The pacing is a little slow and I fear the romance part is going to be the slowest of slow burns, which isn‘t my fav, but I do like the world building so far. 6d

I love Spin Day! #bookspin is something gifted to me, & technically this queer historical romantsy is on loan, but it was a surprise and was given to me with several other gifts so sort of feels like one too, plus I‘m psyched to start it 😁 #doublespin is a poetry pick and this slim little Rilke volume just arrived from thriftbooks a few days ago reminding me that it‘s been way too long since I read Rilke.
