This “may” be a part of the #cozyswap package I‘m sending out (today if I finish it). 😉
The yarn feels very autumnal and cozy to me. I hope they like it.

One #hobby of mine is crochet. I'm currently working on as scarf.

I crocheted this book cover for hardcover books that I have. It‘s a little stretchy but that‘s okay because I can put other things in it along with the book and it will save space in my purse. I was going to make the book cover a different way but this was a project I made in the Sewing & Crochet class at my day program and this week is the last week of the semester and I wouldn‘t have had time to do anything extra to this.
Finally came up with a pattern for a Harry Potter book sleeve; perfect size for hardback books but with the drawstring you can cinch it to keep paperbacks safe too! I put it in my etsy shop, should i add it to ravelry too?
Hiiiiii all my crafty friends!! I really want to learn to crochet but no one around me offers classes and I‘m just not sure if *gasp* reading a book will help me. Any suggestions??
I'm home in my Pjs crocheting a gift (book sleeve) and watching a 1989 horror 🎥 on a Saturday night. I know how to party!
Had to hunt a clean one down in the tag. #makerswap
I love to crochet, open to more yarn. I have a lot lol. I can cross-stitch. Other would be; drawing and sewing various things
Dabbled in knitting, haven't got the hang of it yet. I have a couple needles. Some various paper crafts, open to more. And some pottery.
Interested in a variety of things
I think i will try my hand at crochet again. I use all reading formats so that doesnt work.

Ever have those moments when you realize you lost something important? I started working on this scarf to sell to someone who would like it instead of reading and realized I cant find the case with all my other hooks and needles and stitch markers. I swear Id lose my head if it wasnt attached...
This malformed thing is my first ever granny square. As you can gather I spend more time reading than I do practising crochet! 🤣🤣🤣
Any tips?

Just for you....my most recent blanket
I finished my #2018 #temperatureafghan tonight too! #crochet #goals
I can't read in the car but I can Crochet! Here's to detours in this crazy blizzard.
My latest crochet project. I haven‘t crocheted in years and decided to pick it up again as a way to relax in the evenings after work. Bonus: I‘ve found that I can concentrate on audiobooks much better while I‘m crocheting than during any other activity.
Super proud of the case I whipped up for my new Kindle 😊

I should probably be spending my rainy Friday off reading. But I have this hand dyed yarn and owe my wife a scarf. So instead I crochet. Its so cold here already, I probably should have had this done. Oops!
Look at this beautiful crocheted elephant! My brother in law‘s girlfriend made it for me to give my bff 😍😍 #crochet
Thanks to an #audiobook or seven, I was able to eventually finish this blanket. It only took me three years to get it done. 😵
The picture only shows half of it.

#June rows are done on my #temperatureafghan. So much red (90s)! With my a/c busted it‘s too hot to do much work on this comfortably, so it may be a while before I get July rows done. #Halfway through the year, though. This has been a fun project. #2018 #Charlotte
Not book related, but...Catching up on my #temperatureafghan. May rows are DONE!
Thank you @bullbunny for the wonderful #makerswap package! What a beautiful bag! I also love to crochet but have never made a bag before. I'm also always happy for more hooks, yarn and patterns so this was perfect! That green is my favorite color 💚 Thank you again!
@LibrarianRyan
@Dolly @CrowCAH This is the key for my #temperatureafghan May is going to have a lot of orange, which isn‘t my favorite color, but June is going to have a bunch of red. 😅
April rows are finally finished on my #temperatureafghan!! It‘s nice to only be a month and a half behind. 🤦🏻♀️ High temps were all over the place -lots of jumping between the 60s (green), 70s (yellow), and 80s (orange).
I have to stop buying crochet books and actually start crocheting.
Not exactly a bookish post but I did work my way through parts of books and audiobooks while making this crochetalong (the pattern for each square was released each week). And I‘m thoroughly pleased by how it turned out!
I just got off the phone regarding a crochet class at a local school district's adult ed program. Apparently, I'll be teaching for at least 8 weeks!!!! #talkaboutTERROR #hookersofLitsy
My first attempt at a crochet cat butt coaster, all thanks to a good book and some assistant from YouTube.
Well now I know what my next project will be...

Not book related: a friend posted on Facebook about temperature afghans, where you crochet one row per day in a color to represent that day‘s high temp. I found a chart on Pinterest that uses my fav yarn and decided to be brave and try a modified Apache tears/zigzag pattern. I need to set up bujo pages to track the high temps still, but my first skeins of yarn came today. I see lots of #audiocrochet in my future!
#secretsantagoespostal #eintersolsticebookexchange working on a thing for the box.
This weekend I crocheted this wonderful tote/purse. I‘m loving it! Crocheting while listening to an audiobook is the best. I will be looking for my next project idea. It may be a poncho or shawl, who knows.
And completed last week.
A 50% off coupon at Michaels resulted in these purchases. I'm bound and determined to teach myself to crochet!
Work in progress shot - virus meets granny shawl. I still haven't finished this first Caron Cake! I'm not sure whether to do the full three repeats of the virus pattern here, or switch back to granny clusters now.
I'm making my first shawl! I chose a hybrid pattern so I could learn two things at once. It's a virustuch/granny hybrid pattern from Ravelry. I love this Funfetti yarn, it looks like sunsets.
I've been getting into crochet (and Revelry). Any book recs, especially if available as ebooks?
