Went to Barns & Noble today and got all of these for 50% off! #bookhaul
I preordered this from my neighborhood bookstore, and yesterday I went and picked it up. So excited to read it! 🥰 I also grabbed a hardcover copy of Midnight Feast, because I just listened to it on Audible and LOVED IT, so I decided that we need it for our permanent library. 📚#bookhaul #supportsmallbusiness
The hubs and I are on vacation in Cape Cod (we love it here) but I keep wanting to get back to the hotel so I can listen to my book. 😂 I can‘t put it down!!! 🤣
Not really a book post, but I thought y‘all might appreciate my new shirt. 🥰🌈
I realize I haven‘t posted in like a year, but if you fallow me on IG you know I‘ve been busy. Even though we moved in over a year ago now, it still very much feels like our new home, and no, I‘m not entirely unpacked yet. Still doing lots of projects though! One thing we really love about living in this little village is our neighborhood independent bookstore, The Golden Bee. It‘s such a happy space and we absolutely LOVE going there! #Bookhaul
I haven‘t even unpacked all of my books yet since we moved in two weeks ago, but I couldn‘t resist getting myself a new one. 🙈
Moving is stressful, so I decided that I needed a little bit of fluff right now. 💖 #ReadingInBed 📖🛌
This just arrived. I had forgotten that i preordered it ages ago. And I just packed my other Grady Hendrix books a couple of days ago 🙈 Packing our books away, more than anything else in this move, is stressing me out so badly 😭
Systematically packing up the bookshelves, and listening to this audiobook. I spent 2 weeks a year and a half ago building these bookshelves. I had no idea at the time how quickly we would move, but I don‘t regret building them at all. In fact I‘m planning to do something similar in our new house eventually.
Okay, they‘re not real books, but I had to take a picture before I pack them all away for the move. ⚡️❤️💛💙💚⚡️
I also was given two journals for Christmas, and I love them both. The mushroom one is more like a notebook, and the hardcover one has gilded edges! 🤩
I‘ve been super busy lately with packing up our house to move, but here‘s my (late) Christmas #BookHaul 🥰❤️❤️
Happy Thanksgiving, Litsy Family!!! 🍁🦃🍂🥧❤️ #Thanksgiving2022
I know that I haven‘t been on much lately, but I saw today‘s #AudibleDailyDeal and felt like it belonged here. ❤️
I got about halfway through this book and thought I knew exactly where it was going, and although I did guess correctly about some of it, boy was I surprised by the rest! Throughly enjoyed this one! 4 and a half stars. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✨
I picked this up with a handful of Karin Slaughter‘s other books for a couple bucks at a library sale a while back. This is the first one of her books that I‘ve ever read. I don‘t know what I was expecting, but all the talk about rape and child sexual abuse really made this a difficult read for me personally.
I‘m pretty sure that I got this free on Audible. I don‘t typically read books that are heavy on religion, but this one was really touching. Dealing with grief and family and mental illness, with a heavy emphasis on faith, this was a surprisingly sweet tearjerker. Three and a half stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️✨
I‘m really loving Lucy Foley‘s books! This is only the second one I‘ve read and she continues to impress me! Looking forward to reading more of her work.
Starting a new book today, and drinking coffee out of my new mushroom mug. Happy Saturday! 🥰 #MugsOfLitst
Not my favorite of his books, but still a good read.
I love when hardcovers have little details like this, also this green color is giving me life right now! 😍
Reading in the shade. 🥰
This book ruined my sleep for two nights in a row. So damn good! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
I‘ve been MIA from here lately, so to get back into the swing of things, here‘s a picture of our girl, Arya, in front of my bookshelves. 🙃🥰 #Shelfie #DogsOfLitsy
Coconut raspberry Easter cake is all ready to go! In the background are my most recent flowers from Chris, gorgeous light and deep pink peonies and lavender carnations. The picture doesn‘t do the colors justice at all. Happy Easter, everyone! 💖🐰🐣🐇💐
I feel like this series keeps getting better and better! This one might be my favorite. Lot‘s of eye opening flashbacks, deeper understanding of characters, and new and interesting places in the world! Loved this one!🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
This is me right now reading the Wheel of Time series. 😂😂😂 #LitsyHumor
I don‘t know how I waited so long to read this series. What was I thinking?! It‘s so so so good! This one had so many new and interesting elements, and excellent character development! Can‘t wait to read the next one! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
It‘s so cold here today, so I‘m huddled up in multiple blankets, reading and drinking hot cocoa. Not a bad Saturday after all. 🥰 #MugsOfLitsy
I don‘t even know what to say, I just absolutely loved this one! Maybe more than the first one? I don‘t know, this series is everything I expected and SO much more! Absolutely LOVING IT!!! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
What a wonderful intricate fantasy! This book has everything! The world is deeply layered and rich, the characters are unique and interesting, and the plot kept me turning the pages late into the night. I don‘t know why it‘s taken me so long to start this series! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
I‘ve finally started reading the Wheel of Time series, and OMG it‘s so good! Why did I wait so long to read this?! Also I love a good #BookMap ❤️
I can‘t deny it. I love this series! It makes me feel kinda dirty admitting it, but there you go. 🙈😅
This was probably my favorite R.S. book that I‘ve ever read! Really fun!
This little gem was free from Audible, and it was really sweet. 🥰
Bracelet the hubs put in my Christmas stocking. 🥰⚡️ #Potterhead

A warm light has gone out of the world. She had a long and incredible life, but that doesn‘t stop the tears today. Rest In Peace, Betty. You were, and always will be so very loved. 💔💔💔
Ooof! Although I enjoyed most of the other short stories in this Christmas treasury, this one reads like propaganda against teaching Critical Race Theory. Zero stars for this last story, so I‘m averaging 3 stars for the whole thing. So… it‘s a pick? But like, just not this last book. 🤷🏻♀️
This was a cute short story. Kind of a kid‘s version of its a wonderful life, but with a religious twist.
This was such a sweet shot story! If you like a religious Christmas read, then I‘d definitely recommend this one.
This was cute. A quick, fun retelling of Its a Wonderful Life.
