5⭐️ That start was a bit alarming but I loved the story overall. The characters were incredible and I loved their growth, both together and separately. I also didn‘t see the twist coming, which was nice.
I‘m not typically a fantasy reader but this had just the right amount of romance mixed in to make it a thoroughly enjoyable read for me. Definitely 5⭐️
1) Hogwarts, from Harry Potter. I‘m simple… I love the magical world and would love to be friends with Hermione and Luna!
2) Today I am grateful for reconnecting with old friends, and fond memories of others that they bring up…

LO woke up at 6:30 this morning, like it was a school day. So might as well get some reading in before the festivities we have planned for Halloween Eve. I can‘t wait to take her Trunk or Treating later 🧡🖤🎃
1) The tagged book
2) Hopefully, taking my daughter trunk or treating
3) My daughter having fun at school and doing well
@Eggs @Avanders @Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks
1) I have a happy planner journal I write in randomly
2) It‘s been a slow reading month. But I‘m getting some books in, so I consider that a good thing.
3) Today, I am grateful that I woke up and made it in to work. And that I have friends.
I missed last week, but thanks to @Kshakal for tagging me. @Eggs

Finally getting to this cozy mystery I‘ve been wanting to read for forever!
I loved being back in the same universe as Caraval, but at a different time, getting to know the story of Jacks and Evangeline. Stephanie Garber builds such unique worlds and has a beautiful way of writing that I find myself getting lost in each of her books. 4⭐️
Stitching while I listen to this book. Enjoying it so far…
Definitely a fast paced thriller told from three POVs. Had a few twists that came about in ways I didn‘t see coming right away that I enjoyed. 3.5⭐️
#AudioStitching this afternoon. This piece is coming together fairly quickly.

Another fantastic addition to the Truly Devious series. I finished listening to this one this morning. Stevie and her friends have gone to a summer camp to solve a mystery from the 70s, and have a limited time to to do so. I really enjoy Maureen Johnson‘s writing and love this series. 4⭐️
Listened to this one at the recommendation of Colleen Hoover that all her readers pick up anything by Sarina Bowen. Definitely a book on the spicier side! A tale of two men who fell in love at a young age, then torn apart by circumstance, who find each other again later in life. Super quick listen. I enjoyed this one. 3.5⭐️
What a wild ride. Some twists and turns that I saw coming, others totally unexpected. Great first book of 2021. 5⭐️
@tdrosebud
Tanya, thank you SO much for this lovely package!! I stayed up to open it and take pictures but waited to post them lol... I am excited about the books you chose for me. I have heard nothing but wonderful things about the tagged book. Madelyn Alt and Ellery Adams are high on my TBR, and the other two sound PERFECT for when the weather gets even chillier ❤️🍁🍂 The socks? 😍 And did you make the scarf???? I LOVE IT! Thank you 😊
It‘s here, it‘s here, it‘s here! Now to wait until tomorrow...

My current audiobook to be finished this afternoon. Meeting another prompt for the TBR & Beyond Group October Challenge. It‘s been years since I originally read this one... enjoying it so far.
Working on finishing this one on our impromptu day off of work and school. Should be able to finish it up and start one of my books for the TBR and Beyond Group October Challenge.

1) All the things! The weather, the smell of the air, pumpkin everything... lots of stuff ❤️
2) Not really specifically Autumnal books, but I love reading spooky things. I have also taken to an annual reading of Hocus Pocus & the Sequel.
3) The tagged book, Beach Read, The Switch, Things No One Tells Fat Girls

Meh. I think I‘m too much of a prude for this kind of book... I don‘t mind sexy scenes as long as there‘s a decent storyline woven in, but that wasn‘t the case here at all. The biggest thing that stood out to me was that the main character was plus sized and LOVED IT. So for that, I gave it 2⭐️
I was tagged by @Chrissyreadit to do this fun little activity to help my match for the #CozySwap get to know me! I‘m pretty simple... I love all things fall and cozy. Pumpkin all the things 😍 I‘m comfiest reading in my bed with a fluffy blanket and hot mug of tea or coffee (usually the latter, though). My favorite cozies I‘ve read so far have been the tagged series. I also really enjoyed the first book in each ⬇️
I am struggling so hard with this book... it is so long, dry, and infuriating. Bella being painted as a selfless Saint, etc. Ugh. I‘ve always known Twilight was trashy but it was a guilty pleasure. Clearly I haven‘t read it in many years, so I‘d forgotten just how BAD Meyers‘ writing is. The story is problematic. Everything. But I WILL finish this on principle. As long as I don‘t scream, pause it, and have it auto-return to the library...
Me as I stalk my #CozySwap match... I have waited all week for this 😂😂😂
Thanks for the tag, @Kshakal ❤️
1) Not often anymore. Between work and an insanely active toddler, I hardly have a second to spare. When I do, I‘m actually reading and don‘t have time to stage/take pics
2) I haven‘t kept track but probably at least 50

Mack was a difficult character to pin down at first. Sarcastic, rich, and knows he‘s attractive. All ingredients for the biggest jerk in the world, right? When a date suddenly goes VERY wrong, the king of the romance novels finds himself in over his head in more ways than one. He‘s always been better at giving instructions to save relationships, but now he needs to take his own advice and be willing to accept what he truly deserves in life. 4⭐️
Gavin is a professional ⚾️ player for Nashville. He & his wife have twin girls. We open the book with Gavin in a hotel, a result of having been thrown out by Thea after. Enter a group of men who call themselves the Bromance Book Club. Some of them are on Gavin‘s team, others are just acquaintances. I LOVE the character of Gavin. Even with his flaws. His stutter is SO endearing. You can tell how much he loves his family. 5⭐️

I really like the concept of this story and the way it was written! It was an absolutely adorable story of Leon and Tiffy sharing a flat at different times of the day. He works nights, so he sleeps while Tiffy is at work during the day. Most of the correspondence they have is through post its left around the flat. Yet something pulls them together unexpectedly and they meet by accident. This makes their bond grow, and they begin to fall in love ⬇️
Thanks for the tag, @Kshakal ❤️
1) I‘ve always loved reading. My mom instilled it in me very early on.
2) Harry Potter (the obvious answer), Caraval, Stalking Jack the Ripper, Truly Devious, Stephanie Plum. I think that‘s it 😂

Meh. It was alright. The illustrations were beautiful but the storyline was disjointed and predictable. 3⭐️
This was a heart wrenching story of love, loss, and having to courage to build yourself back up again. 5⭐️
I‘ve always loved the story of the Owens women. This book will always hold a special place in my heart ❤️ 5⭐️
I love this book. Retta has a bigger than life personality with a wonderful sense of humor that literally had me laughing out loud several times. Bonus points for her narration, btw! It was interesting to find out how the person who brought Donna from Parks & Rec and Ruby from Good Girls to life was raised. There‘s something so satisfying about celebs who come from humble beginnings and acknowledge it in their current every day lives. 5⭐️
#CurrentlyListening while I try to get LO down. She had a late nap so it was a struggle to get her settled down. Don‘t judge 😬😬😬
Let‘s try this again... Sorry, our internet has been wonky and Litsy wouldn‘t connect.
1) Romance
2) I placed two Book Outlet orders in early March when they started their 15% off sale, before things began to get rapidly worse. They were things for my entire family, and birthday presents for myself. I also received my preorder of So This Is Love.

Another solid book from Ruth Ware. A bit predictable at times, there were still enough twists to make the plot enjoyable. 3.5⭐️
For anyone who isn‘t aware, Book Outlet has a 15% off sale through Monday afternoon. I took advantage & got a bunch of Picture Books for LO since we will be starting our “homeschooling” soon. Her daycare has tons of doctors and nurses who utilize their care, so I opted to pull her to make room for those parents. It will be sad for LO, but we will have to deal with it. This is such a terrifying, stressful time.
Fast-paced thriller with a few twists I didn‘t see coming! A dual POV that allows us to go inside the mind of a killer as well as a con-turned-lawyer who tries to catch him before his client takes the fall... I didn‘t realize this was part of a series and now I want to get my hands on all of them to read. 4.5⭐️
