
I think I‘ve had this book almost as long as I‘ve had Chloe (she‘s 8) and I‘m only now getting to reading it. It‘s so good, with what I think of as a sort of late 90s/early 2000s vibe - people have cell phones but they‘re not central to their lives, it‘s literary-ish and smart in this particular way that defines books I read during that time, and it moves nice and slow and calmly. A lovely treat for a midweek day off ❤️
