The MC dives in to early forensic science, a woman breaking from the confines of being a women in this field and her station in life. Just great fun. I laughed out loud at times.

pickI listened to this audiobook while on a recent road trip. This is the second book of this author I have read. I am blown away by the research and detail of this author. Truly love all the detail. You see things for the MC view point, despite how you feel about the character you can feel for the situation they are in, be it their own doing or as a political pawn of their families. Cannot wait to read another of her wonderfully written books.
I read Six of Crows/Crooked Kingdom, before I new of the first Grisha series she wrote! (Note to self do your homework next time) However I was glad to see that order wasn‘t necessary it is the same world but different times and stories entirely. I am currently reading the last of the Grisha series “Ruin and Rising”. I am a true fan now of this author, I will follow her going forward I guess there is another calling my name already!!!
OMG! The email I received appears legitimate, it was some sort of hack, got this today and am SO EXCITED. With that said I am a bit unnerved about an apparent hack. #EXCITEDANDWORRIED #RightinthismomentIamtakingexcited

pickWOW, I had people tell me this was a must read, I had no idea what the content was, and again I say WOW. I actually thought this was too dark for me at one point. (never thought there was such a thing) but I continued. The ending totally blew me away. I absolutely loved this thought provoking piece!
I was absolutely not prepared by this book. Disturbing yet so riveting! Cannot wait to drive to work tomorrow, I may need to leave early and sit and listen in the parking lot!! ☺️
I read and hear so many great things about this but never grasp what the storyline was about about. So curiosity got the best of me, just started it in audiobook. Let‘s just see what we have here!

pickI have finished book 2. Wow, I need to dive into the next one as asap! I love these characters and they have been developed so exquisitely. I am not sure if I love or dislike certain ones. Due to this, I am intrigued and want to continue the journey! Great read!
On to the 2nd book and I will say I am half way through and absolutely can say this is not a disappointment! Truly enjoying this.
pickI experienced this in audiobook. It made my long commute to work better. It was not what I expected, however I really enjoyed it immensely! I immediately went to the next installment. YAY! It does not have the "romance" with characters like Sarah Maas. However it is there with a lot of the unexpected. I loved it. If you decide to try it, please let me know your thoughts.

Only a few more chapters to go! I will admit I was, in the other books in the series, not that invested in these characters, however I can not stop reading this and have totally fallen in love with these beautifully evolved characters! I do not want this to end!!! 💕💕💕
pickI think this cover is beautiful! I wish I loved the book as much. I did however, like the book, it was written it a strange manner. Once I accepted the writing style, I began to enjoy this tale of such a dark story. Who really did do it? Many could have, but who REALLY did kill Lizzie Borden's father and stepmother? I will not give my theory, but before reading it I did not know others had motives or means. Glad that I stuck it out!!!

It was wonderful, interesting and entertaining! I can not wait to begin it this weekend!!! (Finishing another right now). What started as a Novella is a full length novel! I cannot wait!
pickI had heard so much about this book, but I hesitated. It remained on my TBR stack to long. If it was as good as everyone said there was no more..... a single book not a series?? It is however a wonderfully beautiful book. The love story development is exquisite, but the competition must continue. The author built a world of wonder, magic and love that is so detailed.....I was there at Le Cirque des reves! I never wanted this book to end.
pickHello to my Litsy family. I have been MIA from posting, but have been following you all daily. I need to catch up on some books I have read that got me past my reading slump. This was a great book from the perspective of Katherine and it was a breath of fresh air as so many are focused on Anne Boleyn. However I love all things "Tudor". Although a bit slow in a couple of parts, this author did not disappoint, she never has!

1 1/2 or so days left for the release of # 3 in the series. Sarah Maas is terrific with powers, adventure and then added romance. I love them! (As you have noticed from posts this last week). Anyone else excited?
so-soOverall it was light and fun which is a huge plus. But it was very light which can be a drag. However over all I just read it for what was and enjoyed it and just had fun! And know it is 4 days till The Court of wings and ruin!!!!❤️📚❤️📚❤️📚❤️📚❤️

pickOk going against the grain with his one. I sincerely enjoyed this book. Roth took a chance and I believe it worked. Space takes the place of a dystopian city and it was for me fresh and exciting new look! Once again I find myself waiting for the next in the series. 📚☕️❤️📚☕️❤️

VERY different from her others. But different is sometimes good.
I relate to the characters, however I will agree the names are horribly awkward! But dealing with that.
Don't discount this adventure!
I have been in a HUGE book slump since finishing the Throne of glass series. Such a GREAT series! Trying to move on, so this is next up however after reading the reviews and thoughts I am not sure this is going to get me backs on track. Need to give it a try and see for myself. Here we go! 😱

pickI am having difficulty describing the intensity of my investment in these beautiful characters. I have enjoyed the first 2 books in this series so very much. I feel I "know" these characters personally. Sarah J. Maas is so good at making you "feel" everything. I cannot recommend this enough. Saddest part is that the next book is not released until May. I am in a DEEP funk, knowing I must wait!!! ??. #Rhysistheman
