Tomorrow I need to do the sleeve buttonholes, topstitch the lapels, and press the shit out of it. Then my tweed jacket is finally done!

To be honest, I didn‘t listen to a TON of DEADHOUSE GATES while I worked because the last week has all been fiddly handsewn stuff I wanted to focus on—and because, unpopular opinion coming up, I liked GARDENS OF THE MOON more than this one. Still, I‘m invested enough to tackle #3 in due course. #audiosewing

Book 2 is on hold through Libby but I like this series so much I jumped to #3.

The Murderbot series is relatable, not overly technical and a lot of fun.

Happy Friday! It‘s not been a perfect week but there was joy! 💛 Here‘s my #5JoysFriday list:

1. I took a few PT0 days this week that were a joy even if I had to work on a project during them. ⬇️
2. It was a joy to not get work calls & work out of a coffeeshop to make it seem less work-ish & get fed & caffeinated.

3. An underrated joy is to see a book come out Tues, put a “notify me” on Libby, get the book added notification & be the first ⬇️

1.Once a year paczkis. Mine are fresh peach, fresh strawberry and lemon crème.
2.Drove up to Lake Geneva for the amazing orange duck at Mars.
3.Lung doctor said I had the healthiest sounding lungs he‘d heard all week and not to come back for a year.
4.One queen bee.
5.Breakfast with two best friends at IHOP where we went so I could get their stuffed French toast, but it‘s gone! BOO! And I should‘ve taken a pic ⬇️

A taut,suspenseful,storyline that kept me reading far into the night.Cold-blooded assassin & master of disguise is on the loose.He has brutally murdered a “Land Girl”,who works at retired policeman Madden‘s farm.Madden joins in Scotland Yard, Chief inspector Sinclair,his old friend& coworker to hunt down this devious killer.As usual, the historical,architectural,& landscapes of both city & country are depicted with authentic sensory images.

1.every day is crazy day.I have much to do but the pain & cruelty coming down in this political scene is toxic.
2.music is always a great idea!
3. I was pretty edgy in my choices as a young adult, I find myself in this crazy time gravitating to the pop/rock of my childhood for comfort!😁I am diehard NPR usually, but can‘t take the ridiculous crap all day long.
