I‘ve sewn up a storm this month, which is a big part of why I‘ve been reading so slowly. I move around enough and make so much noise that #audiosewing isn‘t often an option for me now I‘ve switched from phone-listening to iPad-listening (sans wireless earbuds), but I did get through a fair chunk of the tagged book while I did the hem on this piece by hand. The story‘s got me chortling merrily away, AND it‘s put me in the mood for holiday romances.

A bit of Ocean's 8/11/12/13, a great crew including an octogenarian grease person. It was fun to listen to.

A bit "The Importance of Being Earnest" retelling.

A bit fun at first, then lots of overdone misunderstandings, and a reveal that could have been executed much better.

#audiobook was easy to listen to while I did some #audiosewing.

I sewed my first handbag! It‘s the Sudbury Saddlebag from Charley‘s Aunt, a pattern company that specializes in vintage-style bags. I‘m beyond happy with it.

I‘m also loving the tagged book! It‘s got the perfect mix of wacky fun and heavy emotions, with a whole ton of quirky magic and a deep knowledge of romcom tropes. I hope the last 25% holds up. It‘s free this week though Audiophile Sync, if you want to give it a go. #audiosewing #gaymay

Yesterday I made a dog crown. My mum is heavily invested in the coronation and wants Casey to look his best for her party. We‘ll see how long the crown actually stays on his head.

I listened to a good chunk of the tagged memoir while I worked, and it‘s got me nodding a LOT. Not at everything (one big example: Tobia is part of the younger generation that‘s out to reclaim “faggot,” which is my HELL NO word), but at a fair bit. #gaymay #audiosewing

Photo-Finish - literally.

#audiosewing project done. A cross-body-bag, made from the recipients favourite pair of jeans (she outgrew them last year), that does not have the usual bum bag look.

Spoiler free: Harry has to help the Queen of Winter. As always things get out of hand soon and definitely not according to plan.
