I really enjoyed this very atmospheric little horror story!
Read in the heat of summer with a tall glass of iced tea 🧊

Lovely, murky and sad.
I really loved this story 💜
Day after surgery goals 😜🤓
I broke myself real good, so expect to see a lot of me posting about all the reading I will be catching up on while convalescing 😜
Sale at my local bookstore! A present and a little something for myself 😉😜
We serve Everyone at the library! 🤡😜😬
Hi there Litsy! It has been a bit, but I still love you 💜
Are there any Halloween themed swaps that I could jump in on? Feeling spooky and wanting to put together a fun box for someone 😜🎃😈☠️
Guess who is going to ALA DC! Anyone else going? This is my first conference, any suggestions or tips? Thanks all.
An absolutely delightful little book 💜 The art, the prose and the message 💜💜
In the beginning I laughed out loud a lot! Then there was the middle, a bit of a slog. But, the rap up was great fun! And, the narration was fantastic!!!
Our Nevada county reads book for next year. A very touching little book. I must have looked like a crazy person while reading it in the break room 😜
I finally pulled off a literary costume!!!
I am going to be a bit sad to take down our Halloween display 😪
Day 2! My favorite, The Shining! Don‘t worry I will only post the literary ones 😉
I didn‘t catch the title in time, but here is our kick off of our 13 days to Halloween! IT!
Wicked ghost stories and soon to be tried recipes, what is there for me not to like?! Anthony always intrigued me and these stories further that intrigue. Probably not for everyone, but definitely for me.
I didn‘t love how it ended, but I thought it was fun. My husband liked me doing voices;)
Listening to this book was like listening to a friend rant. Sometimes agreed with her and sometimes I rolled my eyes at her😜 But, regardless I love her! To me she will always be royalty!
Hey my friends,
Are there any Halloween themed swaps still open? I haven‘t been around a lot lately and feel I may have missed out 😬
What a delightful little read for the first day that felt like fall! I was sucked in from the first sentence.
I loved this trilogy! I did feel like there was a bit of an information dump to it but I still love Hoa. The rap up was too quick for me, I always want more. Overall I am satisfied. Also, I may have finished it while ‘working ‘ 🤫
1. Always chai!
2. Fireplace, it is way to dangerous to have bonfires in California anymore.
3. Shepherds pie? Sweets are not really my thing.
4. I love the creatures of the night!
5. Both are great, but I‘m an Addams!
6. Oh come on 😂😜
7. All Halloween all the time! I actually go shopping around Halloween every year just for stuff for the house!
#allthefall
Oops I did it again! I love getting cookbooks from the library. Every time a patron checks out a good looking one I put it on hold for myself!
Bloody revenge story. Great art! You can tell it is a set up for Cape, which I cannot wait to read, and I am totally okay with that! I really enjoyed reading this on Hoopla! Definitely added to the experience.
I enjoyed Eleanor so much! I did expect it to get darker, but that is most likely due to other books I‘ve recently read with 'bad mummies'. I felt for her the whole time. The red sweater 😓
Beautiful art and a intriguing dark tale! Perfect for a hot day spent in front of the evaporative cooler. Pretty sure this was a #blamelitsy
A strange but intriguing little book. Piecing together the story kept me flipping pages. #blamelitsy
@JPeterson you are a sweetheart! I love it all💜 I almost bought Strange Weather yesterday. You stalked me so well #sockswap. Thank you! Thank you!
Here is my #makemereadit stack! I know it is small, but I know I‘ll have some hefty library holds coming in. Cheers! And, a big thank you to @TheReadingMermaid
The idea that society is segregated by the zodiac sign one is born under is super interesting. But, I just didn‘t care for any of the characters or for the story. Decent twist at the end. All in all it fell flat for me.
1. So, my husband is a manager at our local organic food co-op. I get a text about ten minutes from the time he is off asking what we need for dinner. I do a big shop about once a month 2. the local olive oil store sells this awesome siracha mango vinegar that is great all on its own. 3. Cook! 4. Nope 5. The tagged book was interesting, but I liked her cookbook more 😜
What can I say that has not already been said?! Fantastic world building! Luscious characters, even if you don‘t always like them 😉 Awesome tragedy! I am very glad I have the next one on hold. #blamelitsy Also, my very first book sleeve. Something I didn‘t know existed until I met you fine people.
Today is the day I start my temperature afghan! I got the idea here on Litsy from @DGRachel (thanks bye) and I am super excited to start! #hookersoflitsy There are a ton of awesome craft ideas in the tagged book! #craftylitsy
I was drawn right in and locked in its clutches till the end. The friends that pieced it together did so with much care. I do wish she could have finished it 😪. I was never as afraid as many readers have been, most likely because he has been caught. It was extremely interesting reading about these things happening in places I know!
My first library display!
This may be my favorite book of the year! So deliciously ‘dark and twisty.‘ @Bookworm83 I can‘t thank you enough for sending it to me! I had no idea what I was getting into and I loved every minute of it. Scott Hawkins is now on my must buy list.
What a quirky fun graphic novel/Book of short stories!
I found this book while pulling Books to be part of our PRIDE month display. It was so sweet! And, yes a children‘s book made me tear up 😁
So lovely and creepy! Can‘t resist Mr. Gaiman.
@merelybookish Thank you so much!!! I loved Sourdough, I can only imagine that a Bookstore setting will be tons of fun!
“You cannot be really first-rate at your work if work is all you are”
Not a profound book, but a very sweet little read.
