Fun read for Star Wars fans age 6-100. Monsters don‘t scare Darth, but it‘s funny when his fear is finally revealed. #Scared #Scarathalonprompt #TeamSlaughter #31by31 #kidlit

I thoroughly enjoyed this picture book so it stands to reason that so will the age group it's meant for.
Rex has taking his turn at Darth Vader by wondering what scares him, for surely everyone, even Darth Vader, must be scared of something?
The full art illustrations are great to look at, the typography just as fantastic and plays well into the art but stands out for easy reading and I absolutely loved the ending.

A fun read-along with your little Star Wars fan ages 4-7. Darth Vader fears...an unexpected ending. Work on your James Earl Jones Darth Vader voice to use while reading. 😉 My son earned this from us as a reward for doing his chores & listening well and he likes it. #5stars #StarWarsfans #fun #cleverending
This is totally a picture book for us middle-aged Star Wars fans. I think I enjoyed it way more than my 6-year old, although no one can resist my Darth Vader voice. The ending kind of felt like a cop-out, but this is still fun and a happily referential to carbonite and Vader breathing hard.
Are You Scared, Darth Vader? by Adam Rex is such a fun story with wonderful illustrations that is sure to be a hit for any young reader or Star Wars fan!

I didn‘t love how it ended, but I thought it was fun. My husband liked me doing voices;)
This illustration makes me laugh. Many of the students I see in therapy will tell me about all the bad things happening in their lives, then say, "But it's fine." So my joke lately is to talk about the crap in my life, then say, "But it's fine, I'm fine, eveeything is fine!" & then I found this in this picture book. ???
