Just finished a book and not sure what to read next? What do you guys feel about any of these? #makemereadit
And with Good as Gone, the random pick from @emtobiasz , I completed my challenge to get me out of my reading slump.
And it worked!!! I‘ve torn through several more books since I finished this up a few days ago. So thank you all! This was even more effective than the #MakeMeReadIt I tried a year or so ago by voting on books I chose. If I do this again it will be by random draw.
Quickly, this book was great 👍🏻 Twists & turns I never expected
Current #library book sitch. What should I read??? #makemereadit #help
This season appropriate selection got the most votes and came out on top of my #makemereadit stack from last night. I get scared easily, but I‘m willing to risk it for Shirley Jackson. 🖤
Having a hard time deciding what I want to read next. What would you read out of this stack? Don‘t leave me hanging, I need something new to start in the morning! #makemereadit

LOVE. This goes on the shelf next to Anne Lamott & Rachel Held Evans & all my other favorite honest, vulnerable, strong, hilarious women of faith. This is my favorite kind of spiritual autobiography—an author who speaks of her journey of faith and relationship with God with such openness, humor, and lack of pretension—and a swear or five. This both challenged & encouraged me...now I need to bump up her book Accidental Saints in my reading queue!
This is SO GOOD. I was a little reluctant to pick it up, anticipating that its heavier subject matter would make it a difficult read. But I had a hard time putting it down, even as I was frustrated and angered by the heartbreak inflicted on each of the characters, by circumstances and by each other. It was also a fascinating counterpoint to An American Marriage, which I‘d read not too long ago (both #MakeMeReadIt picks!).
#SeptemberTBR! Two for book clubs, the last three of my #MakeMeReadIt picks (I really am going to finish them!), two poetry, a couple more from the TBR, and that giant chunkster of a fantasy novel that I‘m a third of the way through. I‘ll probably add an audiobook or two as well... and will see how far I get with the rest!
