pickThere are a few gem reflections in this, a book that purposely asks the reader to take their time reading. It‘s reflective and calming. Admittedly, there were a few times I did not quite agree with the author‘s musings, but that may be the point—it opens for good discussion. Overall, a lovely book. pickThis little book is packed with so much wisdom! I started listening on audio, and quickly realized I needed a print copy, because I wanted to highlight passages, write in the margins, flip back and forth through the pages, and come back to again and again. A gem.

bailedWhile I'm enjoying the daily tree for the #NaturaLitsy buddy read, I'm bailing on our #MidwinterSolace read after just 13 minutes listening. The author shared two classic pieces of bad advice as "good advice" including changing how you feel about your bad situation and looking at someone else's bad situation so you know yours isn't so bad. This is harmful in many contexts and encourage people to dismiss their lived experiences. @AllDebooks
