I‘m pretty happy with my March reading. I finished 20 books& accomplished most of what I hoped to do. I finished all 3 #Roll100 books, my buddy reads for #ChloeGongReadAlong #JaneAdjacent #NancyDrewBR #ChildrensClassicRead2024 #SheSaid #Naturalitsy #SeasonalCozies #TravelingStars & my virtual foodie book club & worked in an AuldLangSpine title (trying to do one per month). Finished out 2 series & started a new one #SeriesLove2024 & took part in ⬇️

DebinHawaii …the #MarveloysMarch #readathon. I did not read my selected #FoodandLit title & did a #DNF after 135 pages of The Golden Notebook for #SundayBuddyRead so not perfect but pretty darn good overall! I liked everything I read (except my DNF) but my favorites included Foul Heart Huntsman, My Monticello, both books in The Naturals series, What Feasts at Night Lone Women & Make Trouble. Finished this morning for #ChloeGongReadAlong & it‘s an enthusiastic pick! The author wrapped the duology of this spinoff of her These Violent Delights series satisfyingly. If you‘ve not read the end notes from Chloe I highly recommend it.

We get our happy ending. However war is looming… but the calm and happy is the time to soak up and soak in. I liked her words on it.

vlwelser You love all of the girls. You don't have to pick favorites. I thought it was weird when I realized Alisa and Phoebe are the same age. Like everyone treats Phoebe like a child. But Alisa is treated as a peer. 2mo

Meshell1313 @vlwelser I thought of that also. I feel like in the earlier books Alisa was really a child- it‘s like we watched her grow up. I think for me the difference in how they are treated was because of how they were raised- Alisa was def more sheltered. ??? 2mo

vlwelser I got pulled into their love story as well. They might also be my favorite couple. Orion is perfect for the swoon worthy love interest. And Rosalind is so fierce. I love them both. 2mo
