7 years! It‘s been so wonderful to share a love of books! 🥳 and today i am also celebrating 1 year in my much less horrible position with the Department of Corrections! 😂🙌🏻

Celebrating that I finished my #PopSugar Reading Challenge for 2022! I just did the regular prompts, and officially finished on July 1. In past years, I was rushing to finish my last prompts in December.

I‘m thinking of doing the Advanced prompts now but I won‘t stress if not. I‘ve never done those before. It‘s nice to be able to read *whatever* for the rest of the year.

Y‘all! It‘s my one year anniversary on litsy!! I am so glad I found this place! I am forever changed because of it! I‘m also really truly thankful for all the cat posts y‘all posted for me. I got through this week of hell and I am feeling much better! Blessing and love to all you guys! To many more years of fun!

It's with the Institute of Reading Development, and their whole goal is to help people develop a love for reading. I'll teach about ten classes over the summer to all age groups, and I'm sooo excited to share my love of books. 🤗❤

Now, it's true to say that I'm not fond of birthdays - well, everyone else's is fine. Mine sucks. I prefer to pretend it's not happening. Yes, I'm a mardy bum.

Then this week I heard some news of an ex-colleague who has received a rather grim prognosis. Chances are she'll never get to be 44. 😢

So today I celebrate because I am grateful. For last year, for this year, for my health, my family, my home, for Life. That's a lot. A LOT.

I missed the changeover but yaaaay! 🎉 🎉 🎉 thanks Littens!

I did it! And in only 6 months! More proof I have too much time on my hands. 😆 I‘ve read some great books (and some real flops) and I have 6 more months to read even more great books. Kind of excited to see how many I can get in this year.

I‘ll make this my last post for today-sorry to overwhelm your feeds-but for everyone who has expressed concern, we FINALLY got the spinal tap results and they are all clear. So, Pilot most likely had an FCE/stroke. As you can see, he‘s able to get up now and the vet cleared us to leave our yard for walks! This is the best news we could have hoped for. Thank you all for your love and support these past few days. Litsy family is the best! ❤️❤️😘
