A little bit funny, a little bit sad and a lot weird (the good kind). A murder has occurred in the hotel room of infamous boy band the Wildboyz - a group of human/animal hybrids - and it looks like one of the members is to blame. This novella managed to flesh out all the characters quickly and I found the mystery satisfying, if brief. I would read a whole series on Detective Luce Delgado, I loved her 😍. I'm currently listening to the last book needed to complete my PopSugar Challenge, so I'll be posting all my reads starting with the first prompt. Really loved this romance between a high powered lawyer who's exes have all moved on and married the next woman they met, and the celebrity chef- who is also her famous grandmother's former stepson- she only pretends she can't stand.

Celebrating that I finished my #PopSugar Reading Challenge for 2022! I just did the regular prompts, and officially finished on July 1. In past years, I was rushing to finish my last prompts in December.

I‘m thinking of doing the Advanced prompts now but I won‘t stress if not. I‘ve never done those before. It‘s nice to be able to read *whatever* for the rest of the year.

I wanted to like this more, as it‘s one of my husband‘s favorite books. It starts strong, with all the expected epic fantasy origin tropes. However, a journey occurs and that is where it goes off the rails for me. Also the ending was very weird - I know this is really 1 book split into two so I should really read the next book…eventually. 3⭐️

I really enjoyed this Rom-com about a plus size writer joining a health app for work and finding herself and love. This is overall very body positive and sweet. I am definitely a fan of this author and look forward to more of her work. 4.5⭐️

This is one I purposely read for the #PopSugar22 challenge- a book that's going to become a series this year. Plus, I've never read Louise Penny before and as someone who sells books, I feel like that was a gross oversight especially since I love a mystery. I quite enjoyed this book- it felt like a gritty cozy because of the small town setting. I can't wait to see the painting brought to the screen!
