pickA high stakes adventure with amazing world-building and an exploration of mythology and lore, this was a fantastic amalgamation of magic and pirates and queer love stories. I can't even begin to describe the layers of nuance this book has, but I was invested in the characters' journeys and loved every minute of it.

pick5⭐️ honestly I don‘t even know where to begin except to say I absolutely love this book. I chose it because it went with my #roaringwolf in a world of my own prompt. However, the world building isn‘t exactly what I expected but the story was just so good. Id give it about a 🌶🌶🌶rating on the spice scale, but it was also super romantic and had me laughing so much. 10/10 would recommend! This is also my #doublebookspin for #bookspinbingo.
pickWhen I don't feel well, I want fluff, so I picked up the next book in the Chesapeake Shores series. In the first three books, about three different siblings (of six) the background story is the parents, who have been divorced for a long time, slowly getting back together, and this book focused on them. I did enjoy it, but also didn't feel like the whole situation with Megan's gallery was very well resolved. That's really been my overall issue ⬇

I picked up this book that has both a werewolf and a vampire for the once bitten twice shy prompt.It was cute but it wasn‘t great. pickThis was the best book that I've read in awhile. I'm in my forties & really needed a break from teenage & twenty something heroines. Three women: Nessa, Harriet & Jo who are all going through the change & developing magical powers that they use to solve the murder of a bunch of dead girls.
