I‘ve been in a reading slump for awhile (life has been crazy) but getting back into it. I have never read Anne Frank‘s diary so figured I would finally read it!

I‘m trying to read but I have this 105 lb dog chewing on a bottle sitting on me. He doesn‘t realize he can‘t sit right on my lap! He‘s a little dog stuck in a big dogs body 😂
Started this book a couple days ago. I don‘t usually read thrillers but so far I‘m enjoying this one.

Starting this book. Not usually my genre but figured I would give it a try. Bought this for $1.00 at a thrift shop.
I don‘t even know where to begin with this book. It is heartbreaking and inspiring all at the same time. I had to take breaks because my heat ached for the characters. I would highly recommend this book if you‘re looking to go on an emotional rollercoaster.
Guess I‘m not reading today 🙄

Starting this book today! I‘ve heard it‘s really good, so hopefully I like it!
This is a great book! Even though it is 530 pages long, it held my attention the whole time. I would highly recommend this book!
Thrift store book haul. My daughters is on the left(some of hers were Christmas gifts) and mine is on the right. While in the store my daughter asked “mommy do you think I have enough books in my cart?” To which I replied “you can never have enough books” 😝
8 out of the 11 books I ordered with my bookstore gift cards I received for Christmas! I‘m extremely excited to add these to my ever growing TBR pile!
When counting books for the year, do you count children‘s books? I read with my daughter everyday and never thought of actually counting the books we read (chapter books mostly). Just curious if anyone counts them.
First book of the year! Happy new year!!
Finally finished organizing (kind of). Bookshelf: very top is box sets, shelves 1 & 2 finished books (random) shelf 3- classics shelves 4 & 5 finished books (random) shelf 6- books that are in a series and I don‘t own all of them yet. Top pic- TBR eventually bottom pic- TBR 2018- books I really need to read!
I bought 21 new books for $16 at our local thrift store! Now I‘m reorganizing my 1 bookshelf (we‘re moving so I only have 1 shelf for now) I still have 5 more books on the way! I can‘t wait to move and have walls of shelves!!! Will post a picture of shelf completed when I finally finish! The diaper box is what I brought the books home in 😂
Finishing the year with the old and very beat up copy of the time machine. I was complaining to my father in law that I didn‘t have a book small enough that I could finish before 2017 was over. He asked why I can‘t just start a book in 2017 and keep reading the same book through to 2018. I looked at him like this 😳. So he handed me this book, and looked at me like this 🙄 and shook his head because he thinks I‘m crazy but loves me anyway 🤗 haha
Time to get this off my TBR shelf before 2018! It‘s been on the shelf for years!
Well I surpassed my goal! I really didn‘t think I would read this many books this year! 🤗
They were having a sale at the bookstore. These accidentally came home with me 😂😊
Great book! Really enjoyed it. If you‘re looking for a quick read and enjoy poetry I would recommend this book!
I almost bailed on this book. Not sure what it was about this one, but definitely my least favourite Emma Donoghue book so far.
Time to snuggle up with my new blanket and new book!
I‘m the only one awake right now (besides this young lady who has been running around the house!) and I‘m still trying to get through slammerskin. I‘m not sure what it is about this book but it seems to be taking me forever to get through it! At least I have my cute fur ball to keep me company this morning!
I “accidentally” ended up in the bookstore today 😏 I‘m really not suppose to be buying books until I finish a few books off my TBR pile haha . Oh well!
Next book! I‘ve enjoyed every Emma Donoghue book I‘ve read so far, hopefully this one is just as good!
On to the next one. Checking this one off my TBR list!
Sunday morning read in my PJs! 😊
Just started this book. It hasn‘t really drawn me in yet. Hopefully it gets better!
So excited to read this!!
My reading buddy on this rainy day 😊
