Attempt #2
Next read!
Before we understand what humanity can achieve in the next 1000 years, it's important to understand what humans have achieved and destroyed in the past. As I turn 25 next month, I plan to learn and understand about the history of this planet before I start reading and appreciating my country's (India) history.
One of my all time favourite books! Very excited to finish off the trilogy ;)
Starting the new year's reading with Murakami❤️
I've already read 'Kafka on the Shore' last year, and I plan to read all Murakami books this year! Wish me luck :)
Finishing the year with the last book. 2020 has been horrible, but it did convert me from a HP hater to a Potterhead ❤️
After reading the first book, I finished the second book in three days!
Let's move to the third one
FYI: Love the Hufflepuff edition though 🥰😍
Yes, I have not read Harry Potter yet.
I am 23.
I never really liked the movies as a kid, but I hope that I like the books.
Wish me luck!
What a colourful book!
This book won the Man Booker Prize 2008, and I am very excited to read this🥳
Another one of the adman's classic!
Saturday evening with Agatha Christie 💜♥️

While I've only read 1/4th of this book, I am thoroughly enjoying this book and I am eager to finish this one. Sachin Tendulkar, the cricketing genius has penned his life story in the most interesting manner possible, and I am truly inspired by the way Sachin led his life. I recommend everyone to read this book, even if you don't know anything about cricket. He's truly a champion!
Book recommendations please.
And no sad stories please.
Completed this book in less than four hours. This book is a masterpiece in it's own unique way. Describing the ups and downs of his life, Sourav Ganguly, arguably one of the finest captains of Indian cricket tells his tale, and compares cricket to life, and enlightens us with life lessons he learnt on the 22 yards. A must pick for cricket fans.
Autobiography of our very own Prince of Kolkata, the God of offside, Sourav Ganguly a.k.a. Dada!
Can't wait to start this ❤
A gem of a story! Beautiful written and narrated, the book is all about the struggles of two women in Afghanistan, and how love can lead people to act against everything that is against them, and help them overcome the most daunting obstacles. This book is as good as The Kite Runner, maybe even better.
Of all the hardships a person had to face, none was more punishing than the simple act of waiting.
Morality is a matter of money. Poor people cannot afford to have morals. So they have religion.
Immediately ordered these two books after reading The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini. Hope these turn out to be as good as the first one. 😍😍
Heart touching stories. What I liked most is the simplicity. Simplicity of the characters, location and the writing. The stories remind us of simpler times, and how much the world has changed now.
Found this in my father's old collection of books. Khushwant Singh 😍📚📖
Effortless writing and beautifully crafted story, the book left me heartbroken. A gem of a story, this is a book you never forget for the rest of your life. I'd read this book a thousand times over.
When you kill a man, you steal a life. You steal a wife's right to her husband, rob his children of a father. When you tell a lie, you steal someone's right to the truth. When you cheat, you steal the right to fairness. There is no act more wretched than stealing.
