1) Before the pandemic, we planned safe meetings. I remember @Chrissyreadit and I were going to meet in Asheville. I think she had tickets to Biltmore, but... For those around NC - Raleigh, Charlotte or Asheville, would you want to gather at an independent bookstore?

Butterfinger 2) My students have been through a lot this year-hurricane, mudslides, floods, mean subs. If you would like to donate through scholastic a book geared for 3-6 grades, I will knit a bookmark for you. I have several patterns for you to choose. Butterfinger @Chrissyreadit I think I could get in trouble for that. A lot of teachers share their Amazon wish list at the beginning of the year. I was thinking I could share my scholastic account. Or, a thought just popped in my head. For the next book fair (again, scholastic) I think there is a way to donate money for the children to choose their own book.
