Unbelievable ~ after almost 10 years of being on Goodreads and entering Giveaways, I received an email on Monday and the book arrived today. Frankly, I hate the word “offended”. I can‘t imagine a better time in my life to read this book and make that ONE change to rid my heart of anger.

BUSY day yesterday but I made time to open my #LittleChristmasSwap just before bed. @CSeydel ~ I am thrilled with used books. I always add my books to my Little Free Library after reading them. The chocolates 🍫, though, won‘t be shared. @bookish_wookish Thank you for a great swap to cap my holidays!

Thanks to Litsy encouragement, I surpassed my goal of reading 12 books. Started the tagged book on Monday ~ the writing is easy to read while the content is heartbreaking. 🩶

A co-worker gifted this book to me yesterday. I admire Corrie Ten Boom‘s courage to survive & forgive. Her love for Jesus has inspired me since childhood. Starbucks holiday drinks were released today ~ my favorite Caramel Brûlée Latte made with oat milk in my personal cup. #LitsyLoveBingo

I enjoy sitting outside soaking in the sun while Regi 🐾 chases squirrels. The tagged book releases 11/19/24. I‘ve preordered it and am excited for its arrival in my mailbox.

My granddaughters helped me cross off one square in #LitsyLoveBingo ~ Give a Book. We donated 18 in 3 libraries and brougt home about 20. 🤣

Chapter 3 is about red flags ~ this quote really hit home. 10 years ago next month, my relationship with my Mama exploded. There were bright red flags but I didn't have a healthy relationship with her and didn't know how to address my concerns. I now know that she had dementia but she and my dad had always kept secrets and were no different with this devastating disease. 😭

My Grandma made this crab meat dip for every family holiday dinner. Each one of my kids as well as my dad, my brother and even me have made ourselves sick eating too much of it. Last year after my mom died my brother couldn‘t find the recipe. I had it as written on the green paper by one of my sons several years ago. I translated it to the white paper for family sharing. #LitsyLoveBingo
