Picked this to read a robot book for #gottacatchemall
I actually ended up really enjoying it. I‘m going to pick up the next one too! A tea monk goes into the wilderness, because they feel they‘re missing something and meets a robot.

I finished this one this week. I picked it up because it was a quick read and I wanted to read a book for the Her Story challenge on goodreads.
I don‘t listen to this podcast. I don‘t know these women, so I don‘t feel fair rating the book.
Finally starting to pick up Nancy Drew books again. Finished this one earlier this week. This one was okay. Lots of golf and of course Nancy is amazing at golf, even with an injured hand. This one wasn‘t too ridiculous, so it was enjoyable. Though she just happened to find the treasure chest a guy was looking for, for years.
Finished this one last week. It was pretty good and a quick read. Though there was A LOT of Accounting talk. Like I get she was an accountant, so she talked about her job and that was her problem with her family, but still. I‘m not sure why her family was so hard on her for being an accountant. You have someone that can do your taxes in the family!!
Overall, fake dating a vampire you don‘t know is a vampire. Trapped in a blizzard alone. 👍🏻
It‘s spring! My daffodils have finally bloomed. 🥰
This book was a fun, quick read. I‘m glad they only used the “word” “lol” once in the book. It also had THE LONGEST epilogue! Other than that, the story was pretty good. I think this is only my second Christina Lauren book.
Book 7 in the series. A tv show/crew is coming to the knitting shop to film a tv show. And of course one of the students is murdered. This one was a real who dunnit. I was surprised by who the killer was. I really like this series. It makes me want to learn to knit, but let‘s be honest, I‘ll be just as bad as Lucy!

This was an interesting book and really good on audio. I‘m glad it was picked for this month. This book is about clinical depression and trauma, with fairytale whimsy swirled in.
This series is the kids of the last series. I like that series better, but I‘ll continue on with this one. Ronan moves to New Orleans and meets Celine. Celine is the daughter of Mateo and Evie from the first book. So she has a very overprotective family. It‘s them starting a new relationship. Ronan getting into the local cage fighting and trying to deal with getting in touch with his wolf.
Low pick. This one was a bit too long. It was a lot of fun though. There was a hit v show on the TW about a werewolf cop solving crimes. Devin is all of a sudden showing the same symptoms as his character. He finds Alex‘s website from years ago and goes to Florida for help. It‘s a romance, but it‘s also about both of them figuring out what they want.
Book 6 in this series. Violet is a fortune teller at the fair and keeps giving people bad but true fortunes. One of the people she gave a fortune to dies at the fair and now Violet is under suspicion. They‘re all accusing her of being a witch (she is). So Lucy needs to find the killer to save her cousin.
Yay! Another year of #camplitsy25! Here are my nominations for this year!
New books! Just released this week and can‘t wait to read them both.
I really liked the tagged author‘s other series, so can‘t wait to dive into this new world.
Got to hear Emilia Hart speak tonight about her new book. She signed my book and took a photo with her. It was a fun night and can‘t wait to read this book.
(I didn‘t love Weyward, so I‘m hoping I like this one a lot more!)
The tagged book was my favorite read of March.
I think I liked it more than A Fire in the Sky.

Picked this up because I heard about it on a podcast. Mel is a bartender and she is flirting with this woman at the bar and finds out she‘s married. Then she finds out they‘re poly. At the same time she‘s trying to keep everything casual because she‘s scarred from her divorce. She also learns about this cocktail/bartender contest and is working towards creating a cocktail for it. I liked this one!
Not a creepy haunted house story, but I did keep picking it up at bedtime and spooky stuff would happen.
Cassie moves to this small town to get out of Orlando. When she plugs in her laptop at home, it doesn‘t charge, so she has to work at a coffee shop. This town is full of ghosts and she has a hard time at first but Nick is trying to help her acclimate. He‘s lived in town all his life and isn‘t going anywhere. It‘s a slow burn romance.
Tru moves to nocturne falls to start becoming an oracle. She meets the hot neighbor next door which her aunts think is a vampire. The aunts have 15 cats!! She makes a mention that the house doesn‘t smell, but I don‘t believe it. Unless they had some magic to keep it from stinking. Eamon‘s family is a mutt mix of magical powers. So he can see hourglasses over peoples head seeing how much time they have left. He hates it and a cat will save his life
This was a nice, low key cozy mystery. The residents of the house get an eviction notice and start protesting. One of them gets attacked and put in a hospital. Dorothy has lived there for most of her life and it‘s a mystery as to why, that you find out. Kat is originally from this town and was compelled to come back. And you find out why. No murder in this book. It was good!
Book 6 in this series. Still good! It starts a couple months after the last book. What happened at the beginning is going to be a spoiler if you haven‘t read the last book.
It almost seemed like the author wrote a story in between the 2 books (though I found nothing saying she did). Some things felt abrupt like I missed something. And a situation was described that I don‘t remember from the last book, so it must have happened off page…
Low pick. Picked this up because it was on KU and goodreads had it rated as a buzzy book for the goodreads challenge.
This is my first book by this author and it was good. It‘s a bit dark based on trauma. It‘s a best friends little sister romance trope.
I tried to pick up the second book, but it had the same exact dialogue as this one… so idk if I‘ll read more.
It‘s been a bad, week, month, year. And it‘s been too long since I went to the bookstore. So, I decided to treat myself this weekend to some newly released books.
#newbooks #bookhaul #anunlikelystory
Went to Mystic village today! Visited this AMAZING horror bookstore, Alice‘s Haunted Bookshop. (I‘m not a horror fan, but it was such a cool bookstore). They had a lot of awesome classic versions of books. I picked this cozy mystery up! And a wicked cool bookmark that I forgot to take a picture of!
Loved it! Aliens, dinosaurs, 2 sexy men that you don‘t have to choose between! This was so much fun. I liked her other books too, but I didn‘t know about this one until #auldlangspine.
Low pick. Because I did enjoy this for the most part while reading it. But it was all smut and no plot. I mean there was a lot of thoughts about god and bible quotes, but he was horny AF. I wouldn‘t have picked this up without the new #readingsmut podcast. I would read another book by this author but probably not another priest romance. I did like the difference of getting the male POV the whole time.
This book is not in the system and I‘m sick of trying to find it. This book is in a connected World Series. The tagged book is another book in the series.
Lyon‘s lover was so fun. It was just a fun, read. Bella is a retired courtesan looking for a husband. She goes to the Lyon‘s den as they deal with specific things. Bella is given Luke to try and dry him out, get him sober and give him purpose. She is 10 years older than him.
Got my quarterly #myTBR recs! There is a theme, all orange like covers! I had Best Hex Ever on my TBR before, but haven‘t heard of the other ones!
This book dragged on a bit too long for me. Also, Ryder was the worst guide ever and they‘re lucky they didn‘t die. Also, she kept talking about her glow in the dark TP and how it was useless. Did she not go to the bathroom all week in the wilderness?! Just because they were in danger, you still gotta go!
Anyways, I liked it at first. They‘re both dealing with grief in different ways and figuring things out. But it draggeddddd
I‘ve been SO busy at work I didn‘t have time until today and didn‘t remember until today to look up my #bookspin and #doublespin reads for March!
Weirdly Nancy Drew has been picked 2 months in a row!
My hubby was in Knoxville for work last week and he popped into a bookstore for me. He brought these 2 home for me.
The tagged title is so long, he asked the bookseller if it was 2 books when they were looking for it. 😆😆
I enjoyed this adventure romance. Andee finds out her dad is an international arms dealer wanted by the CIA. Before she can help the CIA, she gets kidnapped. She brings along Chan saying he‘s her boyfriend. So you have the fake dating prompt and danger. I really liked this one!
Read 13 books in February. A lot of just okay romances. The tagged was my favorite read of February and I never would have picked it up or heard of it without #auldlangspine
#readingbracket2025
I originally read this book in 2019. It was and still is the only book I‘ve read by Robin Hobb. Because I read this so long ago, I didn‘t remember a thing about it! So it was like reading a new book to me. I enjoyed it just as much this time as I did last time, but this time I plan to actually continue the series.
#realmofElderlings
Finished in February. Behind already on the Agatha Christie reread. I tried to go into this one thinking good thoughts about Hastings but I just can‘t stand him. He thinks he‘s so clever and he‘s really not.
This was my February #authoramonth read. It‘s been a while since I‘ve read a comic/graphic novel.
It took me way too long to finish this and it‘s not the book‘s fault! I‘ve been struggling to find times to listen to audio this year. It took me a month to finish an 18 hour audiobook! This is shocking to me because I really loved this book.
Thanks so much for putting it on your list @rachelsbrittain ! #auldlangspine
Slowly catching up on #nancydrew
Book 14 has Nancy and friends solving multiple mysteries. As always it was a bit outlandish, but wasn‘t too bad. She has to disguise herself and work in a shop to solve a mystery. She also does a lot of boating but also people keep attacking her while she‘s boating… She‘s also trying to find a statue and see if it‘s whispering or not.
I loved this! Sawyer and Mason meet/get stuck in an elevator together. They have a one night stand thinking they‘ll never see each other again. Then they run into each other and make a pact to ruin romance and not sleep together again. I‘m sure I don‘t need to tell you what happens…
I really liked this one and the characters. You also get both their POVs. She‘s also bisexual.
Highly recommend. #aardvarkbookclub
Archeologist Miriam, missed her bus to get to her hotel for the dig, so she catches a ride with a stranger. They‘re both attracted to each other, are staying at the same hotel and plan to meet up for drinks. Rafael is there to mess up the dig and make sure they can‘t reach the city of moon.
They say this is an enemy to lovers. It is not. They are enemies in the sense they have different goals, but they never once hate each other.
#RiseUpReads
I‘ve owned this book since it came out, but finally picked it up. It‘s a romance, fake dating, going on vacation with his family and one bed.
Amerie needed to save face and tells her ex that she‘s dating an astronaut. It‘s Houston TX, so there are astronauts around. Vincent‘s sister overhears and now they have to be a couple around his family.
I really liked this one. I‘ll read more of this author!
Hey Litsy friends! I‘m still around but this year and work has been so stressful. I either don‘t have the energy to read or I can only handle romances.
This is the 2nd in the series (didn‘t read the 1st). It‘s about football players who own a cupcake shop in San Diego and Sloane is a social media manager. She‘s looking for a new job and doing the shops campaign. A second chance and best friend‘s sister romance.
This book is not in the system for some reason. It‘s book 14 in the nocturne falls series. I‘ve been needing to read lighter easy reads lately.
Sunday comes to town to learn about her magic. She is Alice‘s niece so you see a lot more of her. Ren is in town hiding after a job he did. They obviously fall in love.
I was able to finish one more #auldlangspine book in January! This was really good. I like the way the story was told and it was pretty short.
Constanza was turned into a vampire and she‘s telling us her story and journey through the years.
