Book 6 in this series. Violet is a fortune teller at the fair and keeps giving people bad but true fortunes. One of the people she gave a fortune to dies at the fair and now Violet is under suspicion. They‘re all accusing her of being a witch (she is). So Lucy needs to find the killer to save her cousin.

This one made me really miss going to the local outdoor fairs with the shopping and different types of booths. They definitely never have a fortune teller though 🤣

The village fête at Moreton-Under-Wychwood was the highlight of the social calendar in that small Cotswold village—at least for most villagers. #firstlinefridays

BookishMarginalia I so enjoy Nancy Warren! 4y
ShyBookOwl @BookishMarginalia this is her only series that I've been reading, but it's so much fun! 4y

#bookreport

After a rough couple weeks, I needed a return to the Vampire Knitting Circle series and something that didn‘t require lots of thinking.

Nearing the end of Dawn Treader for #NarniaReadalong and it‘s been so long since I read it or past it that I don‘t remember any of it anymore. Such a good series.

Dipped into Dearly Beloved last night and looking forward to its exploration of faith and friendship.
