First in a #Romantasy series.
Arranged marriage between a borderlord and a princess of the realm that has sparks flying during the wedding night already. Then, just when the couple gets used to each other there's a dragon attack and the groom just won't believe his bride is dead.
The twists didn't come as a surprise, I think they weren't supposed to.
Story ends in a cliffhanger.
Low pick.
I have no idea how this book got on my radar but it was so good! I was immediately hooked and didn‘t want to put it down. Too soon to say it might be my favorite read of January?! It‘s Romantasy. Tamsyn is the royal whipping girl who gets married off and has to leave the only place she‘s known.
It is the 1st in the series and just came out in Sept. so be warned!
My first #roll100 book finished! #jumpstart2025
Doing the Lord's work today - set up a Romantasy mini display at the library! 🤭💕📚 I figure since Onyx Storm is coming out later this month it's a good time to captivate people's attention with more delightful fantasy/romance books! ❤️
My November FairyLoot Adult and Romantasy books arrived. Both are very pretty with great colors and design. The fantasy is The Teller of Small Fortunes by Julie Leong and the romantasy is Fire in the Sky by Sophie Jordan.
I'm guessing it's because of the popularity of Fourth Wing, but there have been SO many new dragon books out this year, and I am so here for it! 📚💕🐉 This author wrote a YA dragon book back in the day that was not very good 🥴 but it's been years since then and this is an adult romantsy book, so I have high hopes for it!
