Fun book. Quick read. Has the trademark Perkins love story, with a murder mystery to make things interesting.

I do believe Perkins will win, but I kind of want to read a book on my kindle next.

I enjoyed this even though I figured it out about halfway through. Still an enjoyable, fast paced mystery.

My SO chose this for me. We bought each other books to read at a fantastic used bookstore. It's really funny, which is useful right now.

Needed some funny today. And my very own demon cat.

I am not a self help book person, but I read this at 20 and it resonates just as well as 44. My journey to being whole is life long I guess.

Hello everyone. I am so sorry for my delayed absence. But I would like to be a part of this community again. We had a few tragedies in my family. I don‘t want to get in to details. I miss you all and hope you can forgive me for dropping off the reading groups. I miss Litsy a great deal.

I miss Litsy! Life has been insane. I haven't been reading. Haven't been on Litsy. I miss my fellow littens....which rhymes with kittens. So hopefully I'll post more soon! I kind of feel like a hermit.

Reading this beautiful and haunting book, listening to old country music, and thinking of my grandma who taught me to read. I hope I make her proud.

What's in a name? I enjoyed this book. I did see the end a long way off and that took some of the steam out of the story. But I still enjoyed the ride.

Last night I took my children to Target to choose a Valentines gift. We were in the book area and my son held up a copy of To Kill a Mockingbird and said "Momma, remember when I didn't read this book last year?" He basically prides himself on never reading books he's assigned. The irony is he's always been an incredibly gifted reader. Oh well. At least my girl is a reader!

I really enjoyed this book. A thoughtful rumination about loss and memory and our hunger for explanation. It is not horror, or mystery. And it doesn't follow a traditional type of narrative. There are shifts in point of view and time that are fluid and not always clear but to me that's the beauty of the prose. I can see why some didn't like it or were confused. To me it was lovely.
