So I decided to try and make some bookmarks today using some of my scrapbook paper scraps... you know, the left over paper that you don't really want to throw away, but you're not sure what you're going to use it for. This is the end result.
I'm wishing I let my laminator warm up a bit longer. Oh well. 🤷♀️
I ordered these bookmarks after @Megabooks posted about this Etsy shop last week. I already got them! And they are so adorable. I couldn't resist the pin either. The couch potatoes bookmark will be a Christmas present for a friend.
How do you store your bookmarks? I know we all have a lot of bookmarks. Different shapes and sizes. Do you keep them in a drawer, a box, or a folder? Do you have them organized by theme?

#BookmarkSwap: This is to be my first participation in a Litsy Swap and I couldn‘t be more excited. I tried a Pen-pal exchange of letters last year, but I received a letter only one time from my assigned correspondent so I was reluctant to try connecting closely in any way again. BUT I love bookmarks so here goes everything! I‘m signed up and all in!!! This might be the start of something.😀

Do you like collecting things when you visit a new place on vacation? My husband and I started a tradition of getting magnets, and I usually buy a book or two, but when I saw this gorgeous fabric bookmark in Ireland, I just had to have it. I got this card last Christmas and thought it was too cute to get rid of. I‘ve been using it as a bookmark, but as I have a habit of losing bookmarks when they fall out of my book in my bag, I decided to make it more secure by attaching some self-adhesive magnetic strips to it 😊
A quick, fun project this morning! I was going to toss / recycle a stack of greeting cards from this past year. As I was reading them one last time I realized some would make beautiful bookmarks ☺️ Here are a few...I am keeping the top three because I love the prints & because 2 were from special friends who sent thoughtful notes & one of those friends has passed away. I'll think of our friendship and her bravery and faith every time I use it ❤️
