This was a wild ride! I love character driven stories with solid world building- and my emotions were drawn in- this had some serious sections including violence and complex character development- i continue to be impressed with the series and am so glad im finally reading it!

Book 2 continues with Sophie learning more about the Elves, secret societies, developing found family and figuring out who she is. This MG fantasy continues to be a great read ❤️ I highly recommend for people who enjoy fantasy and are ok with teens as main characters.

I have very mixed feelings about this book. I did finish it but parts were just annoying. Parts felt tired. There were a couple characters i was curious about, and a few directions of the story i was also curious about. It‘s a very ppopular fantasy romantasy on goodreads- just not one i love. #hyggehourreadathon

My son has been asking me to read these for years…so i finally started- and Really enjoyed this MG fantasy quite a bit more than i expected. The protagonist is a mystery- where did she come from, who is she, what does she know? None of this is actually answered. The found family is complex and I thought the characters were well begun with so much room for growth.

#cbbc I mostly enjoyed this book- the setting, main character and mystery were all a win for me. There were a few too many extra characters that i felt spread things out a bit more than i like.
The part i liked most- I was inspired by the book to listen to the Sinead O‘conner version of Molly Malone and like everything she sings it was beautiful and a little heart breaking- but so glad to have listened to it ❤️

I only have this one on kindle at the moment- and it was my favorite of all of the books- although i do agree that one of the storyline/plot devices did not make sense to me. It was also a lot more spice than necessary IMHO - but also I loved Nesta‘s story arc. I loved the characters she became close to and seeing the growth in strength and connection.

I love that this book takes place during Solstice!!! And can‘t believe I had no idea- It was a fun quick read into the Night Court and favorite Fae family.

I am so glad these are fast reads- and I‘m reading again- I have this on kindle too so able to just read while waiting. These books really helped with moments of escape from the past few weeks- but most of all i‘m so glad my brain can focus on reading again 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

Seriously- this series was a good way to escape while waiting in the ER with my mom two weeks ago, and follow up appts. I really liked the twist in this one- and the descriptions in the book. It was also the right level of spice for me.

I have this book on kindle, IRL and audio- and with my brain fog lifting (thanks to HRT) I decided to reread and see if i still enjoyed it - and I did. I love a Beauty and The Beast type story and really enjoyed the Fae and storyline. It made a huge difference having all three formats available.

#hyggehourreadathon I am trying to organize and tidy my shelves- and it has been challenging- I really need 1 more book shelf and am overwhelmed with organizing by genre and sub genre. I re listioned to Iron Flame. I may be obsessed. Also nervous- I must have a HEA- im pretty sure Yarros leans that way but some of the theories on tik tok are giving me anxiety- anyone else? Came to Capon Springs with my mom for the night. It‘s an old school resort- only lodge area has wifi, no cell service no internet and no tv except in that communal space. BUT they do have a library- and the tagged book was in it so i added to my tbr because i will not finish by tomorrow.

Yes I flew through this book! No it was not perfect- but I did love it!! Magic, war, love, friendship, family, found family, dragons, It just checked a lot of boxes. I wish the editing had been tighter, the loopholes less loopy and the angst less angsty- but I absolutely pre ordered the third book- and also- am reading 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Also incase I don‘t mention it enough I love Litsy and my Litsy Family! This is the best community 😘

Sam is a mystery book store owner and writes historical cozy mysteries- she uses her writing to process and tease through clues in her real life mystery. Her grandma and cohort from the senior center are her partners in crime- and of course she has a lot of help from her fiancé,sister and Stinky Pitt- the cop she‘s often at odds with. I really enjoy this cozy series.

Another solid pick in the series. I did just realize i missed the one before so that answered my gap in events that i blamed on brain fog 🤣🤣🤣

Mystery and mayhem in England. This is a solid cozy series for me- especially when my brain is foggy- just fun mystery and likable characters.

I had forgotten how much i love the world of Mercy Thompson- and this was a great reminder. also kind of a gift to have a few books to read in this world. What‘s not to love about shape shifters, fae, magic and mystery? I finished this about a month ago.

I have been determined to read this since last year- I have a hardcover edition, a kindle edition and audio edition. And yes I am glad- My obsession feels a little like Twilight. Some holes in the story. Some things that annoyed me (why is there not an original calendar?) but I loved it…. all of it. Also i‘ve read 3 books this week!!!! My brain fog may be lifting finally 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
