Nanners & I are spending the #HyggeHour together for #NancyDrewBR. I was having a conversation with my friend last week about cream soda DumDums (my favorite flavor) & she sent me a bag of just that flavor from Amazon. 😋🍭

TBH I am not ready for the week ahead which will be a long & busy one again.

Rose is helping to keep me warm in the snow-covered south. And my blanket is book themed! ☺️

I plan to spend a cozy evening for #hyggehourreadathon by starting West With Giraffes with a hot tea while the cold stays outside. Starting my #DoubleSpin before my BookSpin since it's a library book and I'll have to return it in a couple of weeks. This is a perfect way to end the weekend and reset for the week after the kids are in bed!

I went to my favorite indie bookstore to order something then stopped in for a late lunch and early #hyggehourreadathon at the local brewpub. While I read another chapter of this silly book, I‘m enjoying a spiced winter ale and some loaded nacho fries. There‘s football on the TV, but every time I look up it‘s in commercial.

Prepping for tonight- I am re reading Iron Flame to prepare for the Onyx Storm release, In the middle of Magical Midlife Challenge on kindle and listening Dawn on A Distant Shore and The Cruel Prince depending on my mood. 3/4 of these are repeats. #hyggehourreadathon

I spent a delightful hour absorbed into this book on Sunday afternoon.

You see, #hyggehourreadathon doesn't work for me at 8 pm as that's when I'm shuffling off to bed and can't concentrate anymore.

But I can sit and dip into a small book on the weekend that's a quick read.

This was good but ultimately, forgettable. I read this one because my word of the year is stillness. Decent intro but still looking for more on this topic.

My hold on tagged book came in after 10 weeks - so started this during #HyggehourReadathon #hyggehour

Normally during this hour I am with a group of friends doing a “spiritual reset“ for the week ahead - snow left me home tonight, resetting on my own 😊

Mood is sad that Monday is tomorrow & it‘s a whole long week of work. I may have the January blues. 😨
