For tonight‘s #HyggeHour I‘m reading the latest Encyclopedia Brown book for #EBBR & then catching up on a cozy mystery with my remaining time. I‘m hydrating (it‘s humid) with Hint watermelon water & noshing on this cute Neko Pan (bread with strawberry cream filling).

Mood is tired. Shoulder is still sore & I‘m not ready for Monday. 😵‍💫

The narrator for the audiobook had a lovely voice that wasn‘t quite dynamic enough to keep my attention while driving, so I switched over to podcasts for the trip and Libby/Kindle for the book when I got here. It‘s for a book club meeting Tuesday, so I‘ll have more to say in a couple days.

The cats are slowly warming up to me, everyone has had dinner, and I‘m listening to Celtic Woman as I read. #hyggehourreadathon

Tonight‘s #HyggeHour is being spent with Nancy Drew for #NancyDrewBR I feel like Nancy looks pretty disheveled on this cover, so here‘s hoping her head is okay!😉#NNK

I‘m drinking blueberry lemonade because it‘s been overly muggy this weekend & I‘m trying Dubai chocolate for the first time because I finally saw it in small bars that don‘t cost $15.

Mood is sad the weekend is over & it‘s a full workweek. 😵‍💫

This book is a little unsettling, which is not surprising from a psychological thriller, but in any case I set it aside for a few days. Book club is on Wednesday, and I have about 100 pages to go.

No baseball on TV tonight. Just football, but at least it‘s the Ravens. 💜

Spending my #HyggeHour listening to the last 30 minutes of the tagged book for #ChildrensClassicReas2025 & then finishing up Accidents Happen, my final book of August.

I‘m drinking lemonade & eating a cherry turnover. I‘m very happy that tomorrow is a holiday, even though I do need to put in a couple hours of work.
