Another win so far. I'm only on pg 298 and I just want to re-read the whole series lol

Another great installment of a favorite series. Hard to talk about as this is book 14 of the series and a lot has happened. This was a great Winter read! 4.5⭐️
The latest Mercy Thompson installment felt short while reading it and afterwards almost feels like a reset? Or maybe a deep breath before the big battle book. Anyways, I‘ve now read it twice (once with my beloved Lorelei King narration of course) and enjoyed it. A solid entry - and maybe feels like Briggs is dipping her toe into fantasy mystery??
I adored this book. Now i have to wait forever again for alpha and omega's next book. 😭
My most anticipated release of 2024.
Veta Mae read it for the Impling Summoning with the Demonology Professor at Orilium.
Did I just read 13 books in 7 days just to finish this book in like 2.5 hours? Yes I did. Do I have any regrets? No this book was excellent. I only wish there was another book waiting… I need mooooore!
And I say 7 days but I didn‘t read over the weekend or on Tuesday or Wednesday so… 3 days? Ish?
That moment when your hold for this book comes in at the library, and for the life of you, you cannot remember what happened in the last six books… or in the first four... But don‘t worry, I remember vividly books six and seven… but nothing else. Well , guess who‘s rereading 12 out of 14 books in a series, just so I can read this new one! 🙄🙄🙄
It felt like it took forever to read this, but it was really just three days. I felt confused for a good bit, trying to remember the previous installment and sort out what I was supposed to know already, but it all worked eventually. I‘m looking forward to a full series (plus A&O) reread at some point.
#DannyBoy is tired of his place on my lap being taken by this big hardcover and ready to reclaim his territory.
I normally wait for paperbacks, but it feels like it‘s been SO LONG since I read a Mercy book, I broke down (partially, can‘t buy a hardcover that wouldn‘t match my MMs) and it just came in at the library. My holiday weekend plans just changed!
Another good instalment in the Mercy Thompson series.
Set around the winter solstice, in the mountains, during a snow storm = perfect summer reading. 😉

Another good book, but you have to read the book before this to pick up on the plot threads. I didn‘t care for the time jumping, but it was only in short interludes so I guess that OK.
Mercy‘s brother shows up under a curse and she and Adam go to try to convince the power that cursed him to release him, which leads to a major Norse Myth inspired snowed-in mystery-ish.
4/5 dense but good-great characters, good plot, good world building.
It's 30°C outside. I tried staying cool inside with an audiobook set in a snowed in Lodge around Winter Solstice.
#audioknitting wouldn't be a problem, if #GhostCat had a sense of personal space. Now I have to knit with the needles about an inch from my nose. 🙄😬😤

Definitely one of the weaker installments in the series but I always enjoy my time in this world with these characters. Rather than a defeat something out of a world mythos plot this dealt with a quasi locked room mystery and a coyote plot.
Wasnt planning on doing the audiobook, but my library still hasnt gotten their copy of the book. So here we are. One of my favourite series.
Anyone else a big Mercy Thompson fan? I‘m excited to read this latest installment, although the ones that feature vampires are my favorite. I may have a slight crush on Stefen with his Mystery Machine van.
This is my favourite urban fantasy/romantasy series. And this next installment does not disappoint! I had a really good time with the book. And I do hope we get to see more of Mercy's half-brother Gary.
Another incredible installment in the Mercyverse.
