pickI‘m so happy that, thanks to #AuthorAMonth , I have finally read my first book by Dorothy L. Sayers! This was a delightfully satisfying golden age mystery. I adored Lord Peter Wimsey and will definitely be reading more of this series.

pickIt's always a pleasure to return to Kate Burkholder's world, and while the 16th installment had some plot twists that stretched believability a bit, it was still enjoyable. Love the characters in this series. Kate is gritty and tough without being obnoxious (actually, she kind of reminds me of Eve Dallas of the In Death series) and Castillo always writes the Amish as real people. It's also always fun to read books set in Ohio and actually know ⬇
pickBk3 of #JumpStart2025 is done.This book, in fact the whole series, can be summed up with my favourite quote from this “You can‘t patch a wounded soul with a band-aid” That‘s Bosch, a Vietnam Vet, former tunnel rat now an LA Homicide detective.
