A day late, but still participating! I'm getting to the point in these two books where the “just one more chapter“ will start to take off:
•THE MYSTERY OF THE BLUE TRAIN: Agatha Christie (last month's #christiecapers read)
•CARMILLA : J. Sheridan Le Fanu (a precursor by 25 years to DRACULA).

I hope to get both finished by the end of this readathon.

Katherine…I almost cried when I picked this up today! Thank you for lovely books, notebook, pins, and of course the kitty toys. The boys are already playing with them!

I've been reading KU books while I had it free, so for the #TurnThePage readathon I need to read my #BookSpin and #DoubleSpin books and the #ChristieCapers read. Hoping I might manage a few others too, but we shall see.

Started Fearless today; almost at the end of the Blue Train. finished the other books this past week. Christie's spy plots and her Poirot characters really don't mix well. It's melodramatic and silly and Poirot pokes fun at that while simultaneously being melodramatic and silly himself. I was stunned this followed “Roger Ackroyd“ but it turns out she wrote the stories individually and then came up with the framing device later. #ChristieCapers
