I've read this fun collection many times, so tried an audiobook. There are quite a few; mine was narrated by Daniel Philpott, who does a good job on the many different accents. I felt he made T&T sound a little too sardonically sarcastic, but perhaps that's in keeping with their determined un-sentimentality.

I bailed on the library book (tagged) -due today but also I just couldn‘t get into it. Finished the Christie & audiobook.
pickI enjoyed the majority of these short mystery stories, which usually isn‘t “the case” (HA, get it? 😂). I correctly guessed the outcome of one of the mysteries early on so that one was kinda a bummer. But, I loved most of their other adventures and having more of Albert too was a treat. Can‘t wait to discuss it further at the end of the month @Librarybelle #christiecapers

pickI got slightly confused and read November's #ChristieCapers book instead of October's 😂 I love Tommy and Tuppence, and the concept here is fun. However, this one always falls a little flat for me because I'm just not familiar enough with the classic detectives Christie references throughout the book. Still, some of the mysteries are quite good, and I do love the way Christie spoofs Hercule Poirot at the end.
pickReally enjoyed this book- the characters, the sense of humor, the adventure. Sad to her Christie‘s female main character, Bundle does not reappear in any of her books again. She is strong willed, intelligent, adventurous, self possessed. #christieCapers #AgathaChristieClubR3

•CARMILLA : J. Sheridan Le Fanu (a precursor by 25 years to DRACULA).
I hope to get both finished by the end of this readathon.
