#12BooksOf2024 My book for #April is this brilliant 1st book in a new series by the author of Rizzoli & Isles. A small fishing town in wintry Maine, a group of retired CIA & a body left on one the ex-agents doorstep. I wish I had half the balls Maggie Bird does! Reminds me a lot of Killers Of A Certain Age by Deanna Raybourn with less snark.

Charityann Oooh, going to have to find this one. I love her books.😄 2w
Andrew65 Love her books, but not read this. 2w

Pickpick

I really liked this, but it took forever to read! I think I haven‘t been in the right headspace this past week and it‘s been difficult to focus 😵‍💫 This is definitely a book that requires concentration and less distraction - at least IMO. #readyourkindle #april 🐙

emz711 Would love to get in on this hashtag! 8mo
julieclair @emz711 We‘d love to have you join our happy group! I‘ll add you to the tag list! Each month, we each pick cozy mystery to read that is set in that month/season, or takes place around a holiday in that month. Then we post about it using the #SeasonalCozies hashtag. Very low key. There is also a StoryGraph challenge that some of us use to track our reading: https://app.thestorygraph.com/reading_challenges/eea8f8fe-5afb-495b-8c57-9c1c5be... 8mo
kspenmoll @Read4life I am not very far with the book but plan to read lots tonight. 8mo
emz711 @julieclair thanks! Sounds fun 8mo

We should be doing this kind of thing every day. I don't mean buying the next guy coffee, I mean, letting the guy driving into the parking lot drive to a spot without being upset that he stole yours. Letting the woman behind you with 2 items in front of you when you have a cart full. That kind of kindness, the ones that cost you nothing but is helping another. So now I have a bingo line. @Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks @TieDyeDude @Read4life @julieclair
