Treated myself to some bookish gifts with my Christmas gift cards. My niece and I love to play memory and I hope to beat her winning streak with this literary version.

Help a Litten out! I'm wanting to get back into reading challenges this year but I'm having a hard time figuring out what Litsy is hosting these days. It looks like a few I used to do aren't active anymore. Are there any I should know about? (I'm planning to do #bookspin with @TheAromaofBooks and #agathachristieclubR3 with @Librarybelle, of course!)

Picture of my dog's dumb teeth for tax!

TheAromaofBooks I'm participating in - #Pantone2025 and #FourFoursin25 with @lauredhel
- #WickedWords with @AsYouWish
- #Roll100 and #GottaCatchEmAll with @PuddleJumper
- #FictionalTraveler and #ReadorDonate with @julieclair
and my own other challenges, #ISpyBingo and #BookChain

Have you checked @LitsyEvents ? That account does a great job reposting all kinds of shenanigans!!
3w
Ruthiella You can follow @LitsyEvents for reposts of all the challenges, etc. Good luck! 😃 3w
AmyG There is #authoramonth @soubhiville where one reads 1+ books from that specific author for the month. #TBRTarot is where a card is chosen and you pick a corresponding book. #readyourkindle is like Bookspin but just for ereaders. Last two are with @Cbee (edited) 3w

The #URC2025 is finally here! Read 52 books in 2025 using the prompts. Tag me if you read a book for it. I review all the books participants read each year!

52 makes for terrible bingo cards, so I don't make those, but there are more graphics and links to a Google sheet and StoryGraph challenge on my blog https://harpgriffinbooks.wordpress.com/2025/01/01/happy-new-year-2025/

I've finalized my reading challenges for the year and made my tracking pages (I'm a visual person). They are a wonderful mix of Litsy and Insta based challenges. Do I have too many? Probably. (I'm not even showing all the trackers 😅) The challenges are a fun way to find new authors I wouldn't have tried otherwise.

Kelly_the_Bookish_Sidekick Good luck to you! That's a lot to track but also very exciting 3w
MeganAnn Fun! I love seeing them all together like this. It will be exciting to see them start filling up too! 3w

Tackling two challenges this year, and aiming to have each one filled by a book I already own in order to #BeatTheBacklog2024 and finally clear some space in my house. Stay tuned for my list of which books I‘ll be reading! 😂📚 #ShelfReflection2024ReadingChallenge #52BookClub2024ReadingChallenge

What a perfectly savage reading year!

Since I‘m just reading whatever holds come in, & not focusing on anything specific, I decided to go through all 63 different reading challenges I took part in this year. 🫣

I completed 2327 of 2400 attempted prompts, leaving only 73 unfinished! All things considered, I‘m more than happy with my 97% completion rate. Even though it was chaos, & took up 2.5 bullet journals, it seemed to work for me. 😊😅

Sapphire Wow, that‘s amazing! 2y
Nebklvr Wow! I did 4 reading challenges and thought that was a bit much 2y

Clwojick @Nebklvr I expected to be overwhelmed, but thankfully I tend to thrive when there‘s a good checklist involved. 😉 2y

BarbaraBB It‘s on Storygraph? That is fantastic. Diving in now. Looking forward to tackling this challenge with you, @Cinfhen and probably @squirrelbrain 🤣 And maybe @IndoorDame ?! (edited) 2y

Deblovestoread Excited it‘s on Storygraph. I‘m in. 😀 2y
Cinfhen I‘ve been offline for 24 hours but I had a feeling it would drop on Friday!!! Going to check it out!!!! Thanks, Jenny 😘😘 2y
jenniferw88 @Cinfhen haha! I'm due in for a hospital appointment next Tuesday (just a regular check up), but I was expecting it to drop then when I wouldn't have been able to research! Have got most of them planned, but need to work out which #doubledip / #tripledip with #booked2023 & #readingtheamericas2023 - will post ideas on here tomorrow! 2y
Cinfhen Can‘t wait to see what you found!!! I‘ve found a few #DoubleDips and #TriplePlays but I‘m still searching. I‘m happy to share/ send some of my books with you, Jenny 💕💕💕 2y
jenniferw88 @Cinfhen thank you, and likewise I'm happy to send some of mine (as long as it's a physical copy 🤣!) 2y

Yesterday, I finished The Sentence, but forgot to open my prize from the tagged book. This cute little bookmark was the prize for completing the “a book featuring an indigenous person” prompt.

One of the prompts from this book is to make/order something a character eats in a book, so after sending my #lammassmallswap I treated myself to an (iced) coffee and muffin, as Ruth has one in A Tale for the Time Being. Got home and opened the prompt envelope, this stamp with glasses was my prize.

sprainedbrain How fun! 3y
Lindy Nice bonus! I‘m so suggestible that I immediately want any food or drink mentioned in a book… unless it‘s meat. 3y
