Went on a bit of a shopping spree on book depository. I have more coming in from a couple indies that I love too... I'm very excited for all of these!!
Side note for people doing swaps- stick a Post-It in your books saying who sent them to you and what swap it was for! I've had so many instances of wanting to shout people out (like whoever here got me hooked on Death Note), but by the time I read them, I can't remember who sent them!
I can't remember where I saw this, but here is a great list of bookstores that can benefit from support right now. Just put in an order at Frugal Bookstore in Boston! If you posted this today, I am sorry for not crediting you! I need to be better about screencapping the OP.

I only have two more planned reads for August after I've finished my current reads so I reckon I can squeeze it in #10daystogo
Also got One Mile Under by Andrew Gross, Dark Sacred Night by Michael Connelly and Mr Mercedes by Stephen King. I love buying books on Ebay ❤
Last weekend @KennethTolesJr and I, @TheBookAddict , went on a quest to find some books to add to our personal library. It was late at night and probably should‘ve just been in bed, but Kenny had to scratch a book-buying-itch 🤷🏽♀️. So, we ended up with this lovely #haul and we talked all about it on our 14th #podcast episode!

pickAfter a bittersweet day of finishing the school year (sweet) and saying goodbye to my two closest teacher friends, one with whom I have taught for 21 years (bitter), and now I am taking on a new position as faculty leader of the English Department (daunting), I stopped on the way home for some book therapy.
Went on another book haul! I got the first six books in the Pendragon series by DJ McHale and Daughters of Memory by Janis Arnold!
Have any of you heard any more about this?
I got a slightly cryptic email from #BarnesandNoble with little information but a tempting, enticing message about #TBRlists being long, the upcoming #bookhaul being short, and the countdown beginning.
All I could find online were news articles about last year's August blowout sale...
And if this one is anything like that one, it'll be quite a treat!
I'm obsessed with my January spending log. I bought books for other people but none for myself. Not so much as a $0.99 ebook deal or a 5-for-$4 assortment at the thrift store.

I‘ve been doing pretty good about not buying books but I had a free book on thriftbooks and needed to finish up a couple series that were available on book outlet. I feel a wee bit guilty 😬 but I‘m also excited for books! 😅

I am on a strict Big Bad Book Buying Ban and maaaaan I keep finding wonderful books to buy.
The one yanking my chain the most now is the wonderful special edition of Summer In Orcus by T. Kingfisher. For some reason the book does not show up here..
My Big Bad Book Buying Ban ends up at the end of June and hoo boy do I have books lined up. There are some real gems to be published soon!

I've purchased SEVENTEEN books in January 2018. Most of them were cheap Kindle deals (my Kryptonite). Two physical books at full price, and two digital that were over $5. We're not off to a good start on this controlling the book-buying thing. 🙃🙈
Posting it on here in the hopes that cone-of-shaming myself might curb the February purchases. We'll see.

I got one I ordered yesterday and I liked the edition so much I had to order another one for myself 🤓 I even managed to find some gift wrapping paper that fits!
