Waiting to get my results of my lumpectomy. What to do while waiting for the dr... read this arc! 🤞😬📚
This one makes me thankful I have sons. It is creepy. Creepy AF! I started the Kindle version and finished it on audio. Listen to it! The audiobook brings out the real psychopath in Hanna. #creepyaf #damienstepaside #googleimage
So I‘m cleaning and I‘m listening to this audiobook. My son decides to hide and jump out at me while I‘m carrying cleaning supplies and a bucket. I legit screamed out loud—not quietly either. If you haven‘t listened/read this, the kid is seriously psycho. So now I‘m peeking around corners. Maybe I‘ll listen to some music for awhile. 😬🙈🙈🙈🙉 #creepyAF
Per Reddit, in case anyone was as confused as I was about the odd numbered issues. 🤔🤔🤔💡 #themoreyouknow
This has been on my Hoopla wishlist forever. Why does it skip the even numbered issues? Is this only on Hoopla? Why?? #butwhy #hoopladontfailmenow
1. Queen will always be my #1. ❤️❤️❤️Metallica is a close 2nd. My bday gift is seeing them in concert in November! 🤘🤘
2. My Goodreads challenge is 152 of 200. Almost there. 🤞
3. Off/on throughout the day.
4. Yes, unfortunately very stealy, murdery, deathy. ☠️
5. Recently binge watched Parks and Rec. In love with Ron Swanson and Leslie Knope! 🙋🏼♀️👨🏻

Today was an excellent day for book mail. I‘m so excited to read this! Is it weird that I want to get a babysitter to watch the kids and lock myself in my room to read? 🤔🤔🤷🏻♀️ #dontcare #goodreadsgiveaway #goodreads #gimmeallthebooks #pleaseandthankyou
I‘ve been waiting to get this and IT‘S FINALLY HERE!! #goodreadsgiveaway #debut #soexcited #goodreads #iloveyou
So a friend recently asked me for recommendations on good beach reads. The last book I read, The Great Believers, had me in tears from start to finish. I don‘t think that‘s her idea of a good beach read, unless she want to ugly cry into her margarita. Anyone have any beach worthy recommendations? 🏖🍹#beachreads #nouglycrying #pleaseandthankyou
Because I don‘t have enough unread books in my house, I bought more. $12 for these, how could I not buy them?! 😏🤓📚📚📚
PS if you‘re into buying used books, during summer time, Savers has 50% off their entire store including books. Double check with your location. #thriftshoppingftw #allthebooks
Look at this oldie but goodie I found at the thrift store. I almost bought it for the funny old school cover.
Twenty minutes early to my dr appointment means I‘ll be here awhile. Perfect time to read! 🤓📚
Don‘t read this book! This is some scary ish. If I had any idea how freaking scary this was I would‘ve given it a hard pass. But yeah, read this now! Many, many times while reading this I was saying to myself, f-this book and it‘s couch. This is such a creep of a book I‘m going to call an old priest and a young priest right now! #nosleepnow #nightmaresfordays #FUIceland #creepyassbook
1. 10 total—I moved many, many times in my 20s.
2. TX to NV—roughly 720+/- miles.
3. We recently moved and it was 1 ginormous plastic tote. No one could lift it. 😬🤷🏻♀️
4. No more moving for me. 🤞🙂
5. Yay—save your back and have someone else do the heavy lifting. 💪😏

This audiobook is sitting on my OverDrive ‘shelf‘. On a scale from 1 to F that ish, how creepy is this book? #imnotscared #imcautious #googleimage #notmycat
Have you ever wondered if dragons could really exist? How similar are napalm and wildfire? Could a person die from a golden crown a la Viserys? Questions, answers with a healthy dose of humor. GoT addicts need to read this!
This was sufficiently twisty to keep me reading it nonstop. The ending will have you asking so many questions and make you rethink back throughout the story. I‘m still not sure I know wtf happened.
This entire series was completely mind blowing. It took me a while to get through the third book just because of all the science and the math went into all the detail. The storyline diverts a bit then comes back around and the characters all connect to each other and the result is an epic speculative fiction extravaganza. All the stars for this series! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
My morbid little mind went into this expecting more stories about death and the business of cleaning up after a death. Instead I was pleasantly surprised as it is an interesting look at the life of Sandra Pankhurst. Sandra is a survivor of the most unusual trauma and has rebuilt her life multiple times. She deals with her job as trauma cleaner with care and compassion. Read this!
...because I didn‘t have enough unread books in my house. 🤷🏻♀️💅🏽 In my defense, two of these are book club picks, the other two magically appeared. ⚠️Also, if anyone is a Savers shopper (where I bought these babies), every Monday during summer is 50% off everything including books! 🤑📚📚📚
Congrats to the Washington Capitals on winning the Stanley Cup. We are so proud of the #VegasGoldenKnights! This team helped bring our city together after the terrible tragedy of 1 October. We will always be #vgkfans. #VegasStrong
Ok, so I‘m cheating here. I haven‘t had time to post reviews for all my recent reads so here goes ... My favorite of this list is We are Never Meeting in Real Life. Samantha Irby is funny and honest and very honest. Listen to the audiobook read by the author. She had me laughing out loud many times.
Has anyone taken advantage of this coupon? I‘m hurriedly putting together my cart before the sale ends. 🤑📚📚📚 #takemymoney #allthebooks
My favorite kind of email! Just when I didn‘t have anything to read. Just kidding! 📚🐛#alltheholds #ilovemylibrary
Starting this in hopes that I finish it before it expires. 🤞These are the things that give me anxiety. 😳😳😬 Also, I got a haircut. 💇🏻♀️💁🏻♀️
An absolutely heartbreaking account of the tsunami that destroyed Japan 03/11/11. This follows the residents of the Tohoku region the devastated families that lost 74 children and 10 teachers from Okawa Elementary School. The author completely captures the inconsolable grief experienced by the families and community. Skillfully researched and written. Everyone read/listen to this. 5⭐️10💔
Enjoying the nice weather at my son‘s pre-k party. Another school year done, time for some r&r. Just kidding! There‘s never any rest.
Playing the waiting game this morning. On the bright side, I‘m finally getting some time to read. #wishmeluck #nervous
Hi Bookish Peeps! It‘s my turn to pick our next book for book club and I want a thought provoking nonfiction book. I‘m looking for something true crime-ish. I‘m also open to memoirs, biographies or medical field-ish books. Your recommendations are greatly appreciated! 🤓👍
I had to make a ‘quick‘ stop at B&N today. Leave it to this little boy to immediately find the Hot Wheels display. We found our happy place for completely different reasons. 📚🚗
Reading the synopsis of the authors 17 brushes with death might make you a bit skeptical. Think about all your near misses, right place/wrong times. I had to shake my head at a few but they‘re believable even relatable. The story about her miscarriage really hit home. 💔 Also, I had very little knowledge about anaphylactic shock and the measures a parent must take to protect their child. All these stories were very well written.
5⭐️ 5❤️
Russian spies, CIA subplots, love, treachery and a surprising amount of food recipes. This was a bit slower than I expected but the intrigue was constant. Thank goodness for two more books in the series!
Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend! ...anyone have any idea what this flower is? It‘s growing in our backyard and I‘m love it. These babies are not afraid of the heat. ☀️😎
Kate is prosecuting James, accused of raping a coworker/lover. His wife, Sophie, believes he is innocent. This flashbacks to the past when James and Sophie are at university, and also Kate, though she was someone different then. This was just ok for me. I really dislike that it is categorized as suspense/thriller on GoodReads when it was neither.
Day 136 of 2018 and 100 books done. How many books have you read? Post your reading challenge and tag me! 📚🤓👍 #GoodreadsReadingChallenge
An incredible first person account of Cudjo Lewis, the last known survivor of the slave trade. It‘s heartbreaking and eye opening. I listened to the audiobook and it was expertly narrated.
This is my first book by Madeline Miller. I loved this book so much! I‘ll be reading Song of Achilles very soon! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Dessert. ☑️
Wine. ☑️
Ready for book club! 🍷📚🤓👍
After a brief hiatus to deal with family and health issues, I‘m so happy to have time for Litsy again. I‘ve missed my bookish friends dearly! I hope you all have been having a great year and reading all the books. Looking forward to all things bookish. ✌️🤟🖖
Happy Mother‘s Day to all the hardworking, self sacrificing mothers out there! You‘re appreciated every day. 💐💗
