Love, love, love, I absolutely loved this Pakistani retelling of P&P!!! It had all the charm and relevance of the original without the cheesiness that other retellings oftentimes have.

Did not enjoy this book like I thought I would. I would actually give it a thumbs down, but the writing itself is not bad. And for the most part, I didn‘t dislike the way Mary was characterized, to me she made a lot of sense. However, I DID NOT like the way the rest of the characters were presented and did not come off as truthful representations of the original P&P.

Had a meeting up at my library headquarters today and I saw this on the up for grabs ARC shelf just waiting to be given a new home. My coworker and I are giggling over it already

Not really a fan of the couple or their show. Nothing personal, just not into that stuff. Wasn‘t really interested in this book since it‘s EVERYWHERE! But I decided to pick it up at the library and flip through it while on my lunch (because everyone needs some food porn every once in awhile).....and now I want this book for myself! Food looks fantastic and simple to make!!

Super cute manga about a shy girl who loves to read finds herself literally sucked in to the world of fairy tales!

And done. *sighs* I feel like I need to be in this mood for a little bit, but need something warm and fluffy and familiar to go along with it. ACOFAS maybe?

It was the teens choice for the next book club book. I was a little skeptical, but I ended up really enjoying it! The book appears to be setting up for a fairy-tale retelling with a twist (I won‘t say what!). This was an enjoyable start to a new series!

Graphic novel about a haunted museum that was once an asylum. Lightly touches upon mental illness and depression. A quick, fun read when you need a change of pace!

One of these days I‘m going to have to check out the book or the podcast. Hubby and I LOVED the first season on Amazon. Asked him about a second season at the panel today, and am glad to report they are in the middle of filming season 2!
