(2019) Third and last in Chupeco's "Bone Witch" series. It does its job fine, build in what has gone before and delivers satisfying closure. But I've rated previous entries as "So-So", and same goes here because of a collection of mostly minor complaints about style and structure. Others have loved the series so ymmv.

This was my #DoubleSpin read for April.

This book was a great ending to the trilogy. The stakes were bigger, the world expanded, and the scope much larger and built wonderfully on the story previously established by the previous two books. These were a lot of fun to read!

The Shadow Glass is a dark and thrilling conclusion to a phenomenal series. Rin Chupeco pulls you into the complex relationships she has built, tugging on the reader‘s heartstrings every chance she can. I couldn't stop listening. The magic system in this trilogy is brilliant. While it plays on elemental magic, it takes it to a whole new level. #darkfantasy

Fantastic conclusion! The intricacy and detail of this universe was astounding! So rich and full of it‘s own unique history, and lore, and magic, & customs. Excellent characters with true growth. Heart wrenching relationships, intrigue, monsters, magic, adventure, & LGBTQ inclusiveness. This trilogy has it all! And this last book did such a great job of wrapping up everything together, & answering the readers questions. ALL THE STARS!!

I finished the series! I thought it was a good ending, but I wasn‘t as emotionally decimated as many others. I think if I was closer to the age of the target audience, I would be more affected.

What an ending to an incredible series. Rin Chupeco does such a great job weaving her story together and I am so glad to have followed Tea's journey!

These books. God. One of my favorite fantasy series of all time and I had to lock myself in the work bathroom to finish this last audio book, because I was ugly crying. While not exactly a happy ending, it was a perfect ending to a dark and deeply resonant story. This book hangover is going to last a long time.

Just finished. Rin I must say you took my heart into your hands and squeezed the life out of it . Gosh I am both happy but I want to chuck the book and sob.

A solid ending to the series! I have been super busy with work so it was a lot harder to concentrate on the book; the story is an engrossing as ever, but the back and forth between past/current and current/future was hard with my busy schedule. But honestly, even with my difficulties, this was my favourite of the series; everything is answered and you get the ending you want and they deserve.

😍😭 this series was just so wonderful. Such a great, bittersweet ending.

I was really hoping the 3rd and final book in the series would redeem the 2nd, but it did not. The pace that everyone complained about in the 1st book finally caught up with me. I found myself laying my forehead down on my desk more than once while reading this book at work. I watched the percentage read more than I enjoyed the telling of this story. 3/5 ✨(can we get a "meh" sticker?!)

WOW 😍😍😍 Easily the best book of the trilogy, and one of the most beautiful “final” books I‘ve read in a long time. Great themes about there always being more than one side to a story & the power of stories as a whole. The ending was PERFECT. I‘m going to miss these characters so much!

I love when fantasy books actually mention things like contraceptive. It‘s not done nearly enough, and tends to paint a rather unrealistic picture, especially when it‘s well known that the character is having relations. Way to go, Rin Chupeco on keeping it real! ♥️

For as much as Rin Chupeco is one of my faves, she (or rather her editor), has an issue of not catching typos wherein the wrong character‘s name is used. So far, this is the only one I‘ve caught in “Shadowglass”. It‘s actually quite amusing that “King Kalen” is used for what should be “King Kance”, given the whole background of Kalen & Kance.
