January 1 #WinterGamesDailyPhotoChallenge New Years @StayCurious @Clwojick
Boy, did the New Year start out well... 😂 (errr...)
Not only did I have the bleakest, most depressing start into a new year since - I don't know when 😶🌫️;
I'm also already late to the first part of my favourite reading party🐇🫖🎩, namely #Bookspin
Will you believe me when I assure you this list was ready on December 30 already?
I just didn't get to post it earlier.🙄 No cheating done here!
@TheAromaofBooks
🥂My daughter gave me this cute candle holder. It is Polish Pottery that she found in Germany. I love it!
🍾Nah!! Just relax and take it easy. 🎆🎊

I'm pumped to have a good excuse to spend lots of extra time reading over the next four days.

Thanks @Andrew65
This one was tougher than usual....

An appropriate book to start the year with 🥂
This was a wonderful short read that was perfect to sit down on New Year‘s Day and read through with a good cup of tea and NYE snack leftovers. For such a short book it was an emotional rollercoaster and I‘m so glad I read it ❤️
My reading stats from last year.
Happy New Year everyone. Let's hope for better things and great books.
It's been awhile since my last post. I pretty much stopped reading the last quarter of the year. I traded books for video games 🤦 but I'm still happy with my results and plan to get back in the reading groove. Happy New Year everyone 🥳🎉🥂🍾

🎊 Happy New Year's Eve, Litsy!🎊
This looks like a fun way to keep the reading love and Litsy camaraderie going into the new year! My goal for January is to complete at least one bingo and a third of the photo prompts. 💗
Thanks for #JumpStart2021 bingo and photo challenge @Clwojick @Lizpixie!
All my best wishes for a better year ahead for my fellow Littens. Goodbye to the hot mess that was 2020. Cheers and here‘s hoping that this time in 2021 we‘re in a much better place!🍸
I think this is it for me for books read in 2020. I'm glad I didn't do a reading goal this year. I would have failed, as I read around 190-205 books the previous few years. I have to decide if I want to do a reading goal for 2021 now. 🤷🏻♀️
@kindergartenkat your package is on the way!! Can't wait to hear what you think!! #ReadintheNewYearSwap
Taken from Pintrest.
New neighbors set off LOUD fireworks from 7pm to 2am. I am exhausted! Trying to decide what my first read of 2020 will be. I have a few choices. I finished last night having read 70 books for the year. I finished that many mainly because I was able to start listening to audiobooks driving to and from work this past year.
Happy 2020! As we enter a new year, a new decade, may you find whatever it is you are looking for 😊 May Your year be magical and amazing! Life is short, make good friends and hold them dear. Eat good food, drink good wine, read good books! Do what makes you happy! Find your passion ☺️ be the light, be kind. And be true to yourself! I'll leave you with two thoughts, one is our family and the other is a quote from Anne Frank... Both in comments...
Happy New Year everyone!
Happy New Year! 🎊
Here‘s my 2018 year in review from goodreads. I read 115 books which is 20 more than last year! My goal was 100 and I think I‘ll keep it the same this year with the hope of surpassing it again.
I always enjoying seeing the longest, shortest, most popular, and least popular books. The least popular book is a sweet romance from a local author. If you like small town romance books I definitely recommend it! 🛶❤️✨🏡
Happy New Year Everyone! It‘s so lovely getting acquainted with each and every one of you! Like the Room of Requirement, I hope that the year 2019 delivers what is personally needed, that prayers are answered and wishes & dreams come true.

Happy New Year everyone! Hope this year I'll be able to interact with more people here because you all seem very nice and I'd totally love to have some more bookworm friends 😊 I'm pretty shy though 😅 Here's to another year of reading books! Cheers! ❤️❤️❤️
🥳I‘ve been contemplating my reading goals & participation for 2019. I became a hermit the latter half of 2018 as well as encountered one of the biggest reading slumps of my life.
🍾Cheers to 2019🍾
🥂Read mindfully but also with forgiveness
🥂Read 100 books
🥂Participate more frequently in my book clubs. Maintain & cultivate the friendships I‘ve made in the book community.
🥂Accept that there are just some genres that just aren‘t for me. 😉
#18in2018
I've read 61, maybe 62, books by the year's end. I didn't include any rereads in my faves list of the year. My top 5, in no particular order, have got to be: 1)Pachinko, 2)The Gentleman's Guide to Vice and Virtue, 3)The Outsider, 4)The Nightingale, & 5)Strange Weather
Borrowed from @strandbookstore ‘s IG! What are your #readsolutions for #2019?
I‘m gonna try for a few of these as well as a #LitsyAtoZ and a few purposeful selections from my birth year, #1987.
Can't believe I haven't read anything since 2 months. Life was so busy and mean to me. I did not get any reading time but somehow managed to almost finish a short book! So glad the year is ending. And glad/ hopeful that things will get better with the new year! Also glad to be back on Litsy💙
I am pumped for the #NewYearWhoDisReadathon ! #LitsyHappenings #NewYearWhoDis @monalyisha
Thank you for hosting a giveaway! @erzascarletbookgasm
#2018 was my best reading year yet. I've read 102 books so far, beating my old record of 72. My goal was to read 100 pages per day and I did when including books I DNFed. I've read a lot of great books this year!

#MyYearInBooks Not the best pic but I wanted to join in. I‘m almost done with Shadow of Night #reread and I might make it but I‘m not pushing it. I‘ve got other things going tonight. I made my #goodreads #goal of 35 books! Happy New Year!!
Have a safe and Happy New Year's Eve Everyone!
🎉🎉🎉🎉🍾🥂
Sorry!! I chose the wrong one!!! Happy New Year!!!
Yay! 2018 goals!!
1.) I read 120 books this year so I am thinking at least that but maybe 125?
2.) Female of the Species by Mindy McGinnis (haven‘t finished yet for #LPMBC !!! )
3.) read more of my owned TBR!
4.) #dystopianblues and probably the blanket one! Also #passportlitsy #poetrychallenge2018 and #booked2018
5.) my kindle!!! ❤️🌵📚
1. Going to keep my 52 book goal again and read more of the books I already own
2. I think it will be The Power by Naomi Alderman
3. More reading challenges and maybe a readathon
4. A to Z challenge using books I own and def some swaps as they come along
5. My cats and a cup of coffee
6. Anyone who hasn‘t done it yet!
@Wbabdullah #2018goals
1. This year, resolutions
2. Not participate in any
3. Read only backlist
4. Start from scratch
5. 10 books of choice
#newyearwouldyourather / @swishandflick
@jdtchicago Thanks for the tag.
I don't plan my reading ahead, so I can only predict my #5for2018 and #2018quickstart reads.
The certain ones are:
Martel - The High Mountains of Portugal for #LMPBC
Mosse - The Labyrinth
If you‘re like me and don‘t have much scheduled for the New Year‘s holiday, a #newyearsreadathon sounds perfect! Check out @CocoReads post for more information!
1. Thinking I‘ll raise it to 150, which I‘m about to hit.
2. How about 3 shelves? 😂 “Drums of Autumn,” Gabaldon; “The Queen of the Night,” Chee; “Out of the Easy,” Sepetys.
3. YA & mystery, but I read a little of everything; I‘d like to read more poetry.
4. I did my first two this year, & I panicked so much about whether or not I did it right/put together good enough boxes & if my matches would like them. 🙊 Let‘s say at least one.
5. idk, 10k?
Yep. Happy New Year Littens! May 2017 bring better things than the dismal despair that was 2016
.
.
(and that isn't being dramatic it's actually making light of what was the most traumatic year of my life - this time last year I was in the middle of the most awful thing I have ever went through).
#newyears #ahappynewyear #2017 #goodriddance2016
Today I ran my last 5:39 miles of 2016. I wanted to run 6 or 7 but I'm out of shape. My goal in 2017: be faster in running and reading☺️ For those of you who celebrate this festivity, happy new year and happy reading during 2017. My best wishes for all of you! No matter how was this year, we learned something that helped us to grow as individuals. Thank you for give me the opportunity to share with you. I will receive 2017 🤓📖in pj with a ☕️🎉👍
