Just because they have graduated, doesn‘t mean that they won‘t come back and visit from time to time!! #teachersoflitsy

1st grade graduation becomes chaotic when Cookie the dog escapes. This is a book about accomplishment and working together to #CallItADay . Very easy text to read. Just an okay story - but I suppose one has to find a way to bring a dog full of mischief to a graduation ceremony! 😂

#JulyJourneys Day 26: #StagePlay - the stage is set for daughter‘s send-off/Graduation day celebration party this afternoon with family and friends in my sister-in-law‘s place here in Antioch. Pool party!
In the midst of all this turmoil today was a wonderful day for me. I finished my last class for graduate school. I‘ve spent the past 18 months in an intensive program for School Afminstration and today I am officially done! #teacheraoflitsy celebrating the end of my classes on my hammock!

The husband graduated today from Portland State University! It‘s been a long road and I‘m so proud of him.
Today was a good day. 😊
#notbookrelated
Not book related but this has been why I haven‘t been able to read as much lately. My oldest graduated from High School last night. So proud of this kiddo!! 5 more years until the next graduation!! 🎓👨🎓
My daughter graduated last night! So proud of my baby girl!
I haven‘t been on Litsy much over the past week or so because I was out of town for my little sister‘s college graduation! I am a very proud sister! 😄👏🏽❤️
On the book related side of things, despite being out of town for a week, I‘ve actually managed to get some reading done. I finished Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil and have gotten about 25% into Sadie. I usually don‘t get any reading done on trips, so I‘m quite pleased with this.
This is what I did today. Number 6 child is finished and we have no more left in high school!! 🙏🥰 Graduation was about 3 hours long though so I got to read my Kindle..lol
Today we celebrate the last day of school for the seniors... he was a 6th grader my first year teaching! I can‘t believe how fast the time went!!!
Graduation day! My department doesn‘t hold a ceremony for December grads (which makes me salty), so I walked with the May grads today! #LibrariansofLitsy
#NoFemmeBer #blackisthecolor of the graduation gown ... in Dublin celebrating ... back to the books soon ..
I graduated from the Columbia Publishing Course today! My apologies for not being super active on here lately, this course has kept me so busy with all of the amazing things I've been doing. My next step is moving to Brooklyn and applying for publishing jobs! Happy and excited for what's coming next!
Been very busy celebrating my son‘s graduation today 😁 what a lovely day 👍🏻
So not exactly book related but I graduated from the library leadership class I've been participating in for the last 10 months. Bittersweet moment because I couldn't attend due to moving and being hugely pregnant. Still proud of myself for actually getting through the class. Here's a picture of my mentor and FL state librarian Amy Johnson letting me be a part of of the festivities!

Non bookish pic, but I have to give a shout out to my 12th grader and 8th grader at their graduation tonight. This is my son Ryan giving his Salutatorian speech for the 12th grade class. ❤🎉🎉🎉 Proud mama!
Here is a close up of the other display! ☺️
Here is a close up of the display. The typewriter was my grandmas ☺️ Some of the paper flowers that a sprinkled on top had words printed on them, keeping with the literary theme of the party ❤️
It was a busy week preparing for my graduation last Friday! It was a great day, followed by a fun evening! I had a literary themed party after the grad ceremony for my friends and family. The bottom two pictures are the two displays I made for the party. The picture on the left holds a few of my copies of Jane Austen collections and Charlotte Brontë‘s Jane Eyre. The other picture is of some of the novels I read throughout university ??
Not book related - just a proud mama showing off! So insanely proud of my son who graduated last night!
Here is son #2 at graduation yesterday. I am 5‘8” by the way but He towers over me at 6‘9”. He will be playing basketball at Augusta University
This is what I did today. So proud of my son who will be leaving the nest for college in two months ❣️❣️
My husband graduated from law school today! 🎓 Super proud of him.
Non book related post...My baby boy is officially an pre-K graduate! ❤
I went to my son-in-law‘s graduation at Notre Dame- Masters in Theology. (Gorgeous campus). The priest‘s blessing included a quote from Gandolf at the end of The Return of the King!
I haven‘t gotten in a lot of reading time today as we went to a #graduation party and the Tampa Bay Lightning game is about to come on. I‘m sure I‘ll sneak in some reading time- but first I have to figure out my next read as I finished a good cozy mystery last night. I always find picking my next read to be so hard!
My last kindergarten book order came in today!!! This school year has flown by, but I am definitely looking forward to summer!!! #teachersoflitsy
