1st grade graduation becomes chaotic when Cookie the dog escapes. This is a book about accomplishment and working together to #CallItADay . Very easy text to read. Just an okay story - but I suppose one has to find a way to bring a dog full of mischief to a graduation ceremony! 😂

Next in my #BBRC #EasyReaders selection is a ‘graphic reader‘ (comic). And it‘s kind of fab. When Norman Normal knocks over a plastic gnome in his local garden centre, he discovers a real gnome trapped inside. Together, they plan to get the gnome-knappers to #CallItADay!

Although I didn‘t love the pictures, the story was exciting & funny- the sort of thing which capable-but-reluctant readers might actually want to pick up. Great stuff! 🦩🦩🦩🦩🦩
