Loved this slow burn hockey romance. Nothing like a tortured hero. The plot really worked for me and I loved both of the main characters. Looking forward to reading the next book in this series. 4 ⭐

pickThis one is a low pick for me. I liked the characters put the plot was just so off the rails I couldn't get totally invested in the story. I've said this numerous times, I prefer characters and plots are at least plausible, if not, then the writing must be of such quality as to make up for the short comings. 3ish Stars

Tagged is the first book I read this year. If you like Alien Romance with a bit spice, you would probably like this one. But since it is a series, you should read some of the other books first.
Went to lunch and came back home with a puppy. IKR! He is a lab mix about 8 weeks old. . Need your help with a name. Was thinking Jaxson. Not sure though. Help! Got only good literary names. He will be a big guy and spoiled.

pickAnother fun fluff read. I liked the characters and the touch of humor in a few scenes that made the book so much fun. I also liked the bit of drama and thought it worked well in this one. I ploughed through this book quickly and will definitely read the next book in this series. 4 ⭐

pickPucking Wild is the second book in the Jacksonville Rays series about a team of NHL hockey players. Enjoyed this and devoured it in two days despite a 603 page count. The author does an awesome job with character development and I love her descriptive prose. My only complaint is that the characters are not even remotely like real life. I started a new book yesterday, Things We Never Got Over. Still working on Lover Avenged as well as The Naughty List.
pickThis is one of my favorites, if not my most favorite, in the Discworld series. Pratchett hit the nail on the head again. His take on government is spot on. As usual, there are laughs throughout the story. 4.5 ⭐

This book was a rollercoaster of emotions. It had a bit of everything. The plot was so good and the author took her time with the character development. It was just fabulous. The story is told mostly from the Arianna's POV; however, I would have liked more from Noah's POV. Other than that it was perfection. Especially, the slow burn.
