Book four of the Twisted series is my favorite. Not only was the plot good and it pulled me in right away, it was fast paced and well thought out. I absolutely loved the two MCs. I need more books like this. 5⭐️

pickThis is book three in the Twisted series. It can be read as a stand-alone, but I recommend that you read them in order. This is my least favorite so far, mainly because I didn't like the MMC. He was an arrogant ass. Despite this, the story was so well written that I found myself pulling for both the MCs by the end. 4⭐️

pickThis was a reread for me. I just couldn't get into the mood for anything else and I wanted that slow burn story. It had been a while and I had forgotten most of what happened. I love Douglas's writing style and I got sucked into this book again very quickly. Loved the angst, the forbidden romance and just the right amount of steam for my tastes. Still a 5⭐️ Book.

This one is hard to rate. I liked the magical quality to the story but felt the ending was a bit too put together and didn't fit the feel of the story. This aside, it was one that pulled at my heart. 4⭐️

While the story was okay, as were the characters. It needed more development. I also crave descriptive prose and this book lacked that element. All the scenes felt rushed. 3⭐️
I have two books that I need to finish from November, and then it will be on to the holiday books. I was blown away by the number books I own that are unread and Christmas themed. Therefore, my focus will be books I own.

Wrath has Qhuinn become John's 'Ashtrux Nohtrum'. Retroactive, of course. A neat solution. Lash kills all his adopted vampire family. Z and Phury are the ones who find the family. Butch is called in to do forensics. John and Qhuinn go to Blay's house. John insists that they tell him what is wrong. Blay admits he is in love with Qhuinn. Lessors attack Blay's family while the guys are there and everyone is safe.

The December selection for #LitsySciFiBookClub #LSFBC is Stars Uncharted. My local library has the digital and audio book both available. Currently, the Kindle price is $7.99 in the US. It was published in 2018 so maybe there are a few used copies available if you prefer a physical book and your local library doesn't carry it. Happy Reading!
