First book in the excellent Ellery Queen Series. On the subject of hats, I‘m sat here reading today in my hat because it is a bit nippy. 😂

I just have to say when you see a cover like this at a library sale store for a buck , you just have to get it!
Got some great book swag from @writerathart who runs a cozy mystery book club on YouTube.
Hi guys. Well it's been a while since I posted here, but this year is pretty strange.
But I never stopped reading.
At the moment I enjoy two buddyreads. First the Sherlock one, I really enjoy this story and the second one is Killer city by Wolfgang Hohlbein with @Moony .
Hope you are doing well...
Okay, THREE is the #DoubleSpin number!! The official #BookSpin number (ONE!!) is in my previous post!! This month I am just tagging everyone who posted a list with this number, but this is overall a no-pressure challenge, so just because I tag you, I do not want people to feel pressured about reading a second book!! This number is here if you want it, and ignore it if you don't!! See my previous post for giveaway entry details, please!!
Book 2 of 2020, listened on Hoopla. This is the first Ellery Queen book, com 1929. So it‘s dated, and is also not the kind of mystery that the reader can solve due to info not being shared with the reader. I was on the right track though, wondering why they weren‘t taking a certain line of inquiry! The exact motive I was nowhere near—it is very 1929. I may listen to book 2 some time. #classicmystery #mystery
Finished my puzzle with 2 hours left of my audiobook! I‘m not crazy about this mystery. I checked it out from #Hoopla because the description includes a body found on Christmas, but it deviates from that pretty quickly. My first Ellery Queen and probably my last— I was expecting more Agatha Christie style from this 1932 read, but I‘m getting a bloodier Boys Own adventure novel. Plus, I feel like it could have ended 3 times by now 🙄
