Hi guys. Well it's been a while since I posted here, but this year is pretty strange.
But I never stopped reading.
At the moment I enjoy two buddyreads. First the Sherlock one, I really enjoy this story and the second one is Killer city by Wolfgang Hohlbein with @Moony .
Hope you are doing well...

#colorbooktag for @Izai.Amorim

I even have such old ones. 😉 I really like this kind of fiction. Do you know these series?

Izai.Amorim No, that's new to me. How old are the books? 7y
Sarah83 @Izai.Amorim These books were published in the 1980 and 1990. But the stories are much older. Ellery Queen was first published 1929 and Henry Fitzgerald Heard 1942. If you like 'classic' detective stories or adaptions of Sherlock Holmes this could be interesting. I have a look for the whole 'DuMont's Kriminal-Bibliothek' and post the link here. 😉 7y
Sarah83 @Izai.Amorim So here are two sites were you can have a look, if you want to: http://www.mathe.tu-freiberg.de/~hebisch/buecher/krimi/dumont.html this is a page for printed books and this one is a site for digital books: http://www.dumont-buchverlag.de/buch/dig-krimibib-queen-der-nackte-tod-978383218... 7y

Izai.Amorim @Sarah83 Thank you!👍 I'll take a look. Always ready and willing to expand my horizon. I kind of lost touch with modern German literature, only read the classics. Could you recommend 5 contemporary writers I must have read? 7y
Sarah83 @Izai.Amorim you're welcome. You mean five authors of this collection? mhm. Have you already read classic detective stories and which author did you like most? 😉 7y
Izai.Amorim @Sarah83 No I mean 5 contemporary authors of fiction. Since 2000. 7y
Sarah83 @Izai.Amorim These aren't German writers. But of course there are a few. Only crime? Or even other subjects? 7y
Izai.Amorim @Sarah83 In the last years I have read too many German classics and a lot of English language literature. I missed out on contemporary German literature and I would like to catch up. Literary fiction, not crime. I heard about that book about a guy growing up in the RAF time, he spent a decade writing it. Is that any good? 7y
Sarah83 @Izai.Amorim This one is still on my tbr. 😏 I will have a look at home which ones I read. But mostly I read historical books like Rebecca Gable for example 7y
