If you want to stick to Litsy only just ignore.
I've dusted off the #PemberLittens Facebook Group to share a video of #JaneAustenThenAndNow Book Club https://www.facebook.com/share/19WBUhK2kj/
Also on Threads. https://bit.ly/3AkVnvQ
And Instagram. https://bit.ly/3Yzu8pq
Instagram is fun because my dear friend Claire from 🇬🇧 https://bit.ly/4eihalH joins in there with some amazing posts. Her mum made my Jane doll on the shelf behind me.
December 16, 2025 is 250 Anniversary of Jane Austen's Birth. I wanted to do something special for #JaneAdjacent Book Club.
Thought to harken back to beginnings of Pemberlittens when @sprainedbrain brought us together to read Jane Austen.
One month will read Original. Next you choose a retelling, graphic novel, or watch a movie. Tag @Crinoline_Laphroaig #PemberLittens #JaneAustenThenAndNow so we can find your posts.
I'm so excited for this!
A beautiful gift from my dressage instructor. We frequently talk books, and she knows I love Jane Austen. This has gold edges and a built-in ribbon bookmark.
#AboutABook #ClassicYouRead
As predictable as these may be, they are my comfort classics.
@Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks @Eggs
I got this book & the bookmark was on Pride and Prejudice someone said to start with this story . I guess the book agrees ✨🔖🎀
repost for @Soubhiville:
Welcome to January 2024 #AuthorAMonth readers! Time to pull out our Jane Austen books. What are you planning to read?
#AuthorAMonth is a no-pressure, no-commitment Litsy challenge. The goal is to celebrate the works of a particular author each month. Authors were chosen through polls by Litsy participants. Read as many as you like, skip months when needed, it's entirely up to you!

I went to Winchester today and visited Jane Austen‘s grave in Winchester Cathedral and the house where she spent her final days, something I have long wanted to do.
#WonderousWednesday
1. Caring for my six month old daughter
2. Jane Austen, I would ask if she still held out hope for a love match for herself.
3. I love picking out specific gifts for others that‘s unique to their collections.

There's an instagram account that I follow who takes old paintings and sculptures to recreate famous figures to imagine what they actually looked like. She just posted this one of Jane Austen, which I figured the #pemberlittens would find interesting. Based on the only drawing of Jane we have.
Check out the whole reel to see the process, it's pretty cool ☺️

It arrived intact, @TheQuietQuill. You were so kind to replace the #muglove23 that got broken. This one is perfect and I so appreciate you. 😊 @Cinfhen @TheKidUpstairs
One of my favorite self care things to do is to make myself a proper tea. I like all types in all ways and usually with a little treat. One of my daughters bought me this super cool teapot recently. The open book on top has the 1st words of Pride & Prejudice. This really is just perfect on all counts. I have more than a couple teapots and vintage teacups in my collection. This is my new favorite and will live next to my Jane Austen Chilterns.
This is what makes Jane Austen great!

So this is my IRL Bookclub! We‘ve been together for 15 years - which has included 3 marriages, 9 children, countless job changes, joys and heart aches! We talk books and life and everything in between. This weekend was the first time we‘d met in person for 2 years and it nourished my soul. #bookpeoplerock
Happy birthday to the great Jane Austen, author to several iconic contributions to #britishliterature & #classicliterature. And of course the period drama, how can anyone deny the appeal of Mr. Darcy.... :P #prideandprejudice #classics #fiction

So much fun to reread all of Austen‘s novels and to end on my favorite. Many thanks to @sprainedbrain for organizing and a special shout out to @DebinHawaii for the #chapteraday haikus and memes. Love the #Pemberlittens!!!
I'm ready #Pemberlittens! Whose got a cool hashtag for Persuasion?#PemberlittensandPersuasion ?
#AlmostPersuaded?
I've slowly been collecting Clothbound Classics as we've been reading. I picked up Persuasion a few days ago at Barnes and Noble. They also Love & Friendship and other Youthful Writings so I bought it to finish my collection. #collectionnotobsession 📚
@sprainedbrain
One of my best purchases this month! I saw these gorgeous covered classics by Charlotte Brontë and Jane Austen and couldn‘t resist! Plus, the 1995 version of Persuasion with Amanda Root and Ciarán Hinds had me in the mood ☺️
Anyone like any of the classics? I love Jane Austen in particular ☺️ #janeausten #classicliterature #literature #bookstack #sherlockholmes
This popped up in my Facebook On this Day. Every year I celebrate my Birthday for as many Days as I'm years old. Not about big parties and spending money although I do spend money. Hey it's my Birthday. But more importantly it's taking time every day to enjoy life's little moments. #Pemberlittens are definitely a part of that. I didn't realize we've been at this over a year. It's been a delight. 📚

Thanks @andrea313 for teaching me what 'mommyjacking' was. Absolutely what happened in this chapter. I listened while getting ready for my IRL Books and Brews Club. It's so wonderful to be back in person. 😆💉💉📚🍻

Found this lovely bookstore while walking in downtown Carmel-by-the-Sea, CA. 📚⛱️
Just finished my new Jane Austen themed puzzle with my Mum. It was lovely and a bit easier than the World of Shakespeare one in the same range!
Decided to just go ahead and order this as a splurge and I adore her! She‘ll probably come out of her box soon because I don‘t care for the boxes. She needs to be free!
My sister saw it the other day and asked “who is she?” 🤦🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️🤣 I know my sister doesn‘t read much but my goodness I didn‘t know it was that bad!
The book club gals and I are meeting today since we have finally finished all six novels. We plan to watch The Jane Austen Boon Club movie after the book chat. #bayoubookbunch @Lollymya @Chelsey_5
This print from @AmyG is so pretty and absolutely perfect for me that it must have its own post.
Thank you again, Amy!

I am in love with this new podcast! They‘re reading Austen with a view to looking at it with modern eyes and historical context; for example, this last one looked at S+S through the lens of class and the one before that race in the Regency Era. It‘s fascinating! #PemberLittens
And just a little extra love for these freakin adorable tiny books! 💕💕💕
As part of my 2021 intention to ‘stay engaged‘ I‘m checking out the hundreds of free online lectures from the Gresham College. Jane seems the best place to start! 🥳
