A book every teen should read! Relatable characters, humour mixed with big issues, historical references. Loved it.

My favourite quote from the book that made me fall in love with literature ❤️

New knowledge is the most valuable commodity on earth. The more truth we have to work with, the richer we become.

My Friend Dahmer | Derf Backderf
Mehso-so

Meh. After watching the Netflix series and a bunch of interviews, this graphic novel didn‘t tell me anything new. I appreciate how he portrayed Dahmer as an unfortunate figure, who could have turned out different in better circumstances, but still placed full blame on Dahmer himself for his actions.

Fast story with little to no details. Awful artwork, IMO.

Relatable content, especially today. The writing style is not really my preference, but it kept me entertained.

Just so good. I love this time period and Gregory does so right by it.

Original story that kept me mostly entertained. Dragged a bit in the middle and I deeply disliked the ending.

A story of finding humanity in an inhumane environment. Interesting perspective, though not a very exciting account of prison life.

Deep meanings, relatable ideas. A little to “science-y” for me in some stories.

You | Caroline Kepnes

Yuck. So disturbing. Rarely do I think this, but the Netflix series is far superior in its writing.

DogMomIrene Interesting. I haven‘t watched the series. I was waiting to read the book. May rethink that one🤔 2y

Cute read that gives insight into the historical period. Relatable and believable characters. I wish I would have read this when I was younger.

Good mystery, though very drawn out. A lot of unnecessary plot inclusions.
