pickSuch eloquence! Dean Koontz has such a play of words. This story was gripping. I sincerely read so fast because my heart was pumping 😂

A bit of snow, and an advent calendar from my work (we get calendars and Easter eggs from them every year, it's really nice!). Starting to feel Christmassy.

pick3 year old Melanie was kidnapped by her father, who conducts scientific experiments on her. Six years later he's found beaten to death and Melanie is returned to her mother Laura. Now, others involved are turning up brutally murdered and Laura is trying to protect her traumatized daughter from the terror they unleashed. Not a bad story. A bit predictable at times but overall a good read.
It's windy and chilly outside so my afternoon plans will consist of hot coffee and getting started on #LetterD for #LitsyAtoZ.
