Great read. A folklore based on love and endurance. Taught me to leave some things on God and it would all turn out to be good in the end.

First read of 2024.
This was such a good read with so many powerful messages and insights. The narrative is neatly interwoven with anecdotes of the period giving you a glimpse of the horrors that happed during the holocaust. Yet the message about hope and strength is very clear. The world is full of cruelties but there is always some kind spirit around!!
So, I've been away a long time. But i am gonna start posting again. This book was gifted to me by my @ChayRoy18 . Thank you so much.🙌🌟
Already started reading this and 10 pages in, it feels quite intriguing and thought-provoking. Hope to finish it in the next week 🤞.
No matter how much busy I get, I always find time for Agatha. Read this in one sitting😅, couldn't put it down. She is truly the Queen of Crime 👸
Oh my. I totally forgot about this. My 2nd year
listyversary. Thanks everyone for making this app so wholesome and amazing. I already posted very less and now my college schedule doesn't even permit me to post even that much. Hope to start doing that on weekends. Hope everyone is doing fine. 🙌🙌
Reading is all messed up this month. Couldn't concentrate on anything and a lot going on around me. But got some pre-loved books 📚 in a sale so that's something good.
Started this today. I had to rush to my grandma's👵coz she was sick. Was unable to carry any of my books, so reading from my aunt's library.
Splendid!!!
Finished this last night. I like how elephants are used in the book. The climax could be guessed a little beforehand but still this was a good read.
I am very late for the #Bookspin and #Doublespin list. My list this time includes primarily of non-fiction which I have to catch up to and also some I have to read for my degree. Hoping to read enough because I read slowly when it comes to non-fiction.

1) My Cousin who is really witty and makes us laugh all the time. He is also my best friend 🤗
2) I guess intellect/intelligence of a person. Not gonna lie i do give in to physical beauty but the the end always comes to the intellect😅
3) A publishing company/ Gaming platform/Games publishing/ financial management firm.
4) Oh it is Wednesday. Because of this and also the various memes we share on wednesday🤣
Thanks for the tag @Eggs
So this has sparked a lot of mixed feelings for me. It hovers between pick and so-so and finally settled for the latter. The concept and the imagination are really good but I feel it lacks the implementation. The main character is flawed which is nice, it makes them human to me rather just book heroes who are all mighty and strong. Coming to the harsh regime and the capitol I don't get how can they be so advanced with flying cameras, (continued⤵️)
My #NutsInMay stats.
So I could finish only these two books and started my third.
I was able to read 1143/1000 but that was all that i could do for the 1500 stretch.
Pretty happy with it though😁.
Thank you so much @Andrew65 for hosting this readathon.
100 pages in, the story is all around the place right now. I like katniss but a few of her points are straight up weird for me. Maybe it will change with time.
Also I completed my 1000/1000 pages for #NutsInMay Now would pushing for 1500.
Amazing ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐.
My #bookspin book done. This was one the most amazing books that I read in 2021. The characters are well written with a good depth. I really love war stories, strategies and stuff but the gut wrenching aftermath of it described with gruesome details is really heartbreaking. Still the book held on and kept me engaged. The main character did get on my nerves a lot in the beginning but soon enough it changed..
Continued... ⬇️⬇️
I have read a few books of the private series and wanted to read the #1, from where it all began and to be honest I was disappointed. The story lacks a lot of detail, no depth to anyone, jumbling between 3 cases becomes idiotic and the length of the chapters is simply horrendous. There are two chapter whose lengths are one single page.
I had read the other parts like 4-5 years ago maybe that's why they looked promising.
Overall 2/5⭐
Was too tired to upload but here goes the stats for
Day 4 of #NutsInMay. Read 218 pages taking the total to 701/1000.

So first fay of #NutsInMay Read 108/1000.
If i can read this much everyday 1000 pages would seem easy and who knows might strech it 1500.

Okay so my goal for #NutsInMay would be to read 1000 pages and if possible to strech it to 1500 but that might be an overkill for an amateur like me.
Currently reading the tagged book, hope to complete it by next week.
Thanks for hosting @Andrew65

My #bookspin. Have completed a few chapters, really mesmerising. Hope this form continues. I like the fast pace which makes the story far more interesting to me.

Started this one last night. Written by a well known journalist the book is based upon the relationship between Journalism and the Government. The book is quite informative and well organised.
My #doublespin book done. This was an okayish read for me. The story at times felt a little vague and not that much different from any other thriller or murder mystery. The technological points were highlighted but the protagonist always went for the laptop to search for every little thing. Bee had a very diminishing role up against the IQ she is presented with, which leaves more to be desired. Maybe she plays a bigger role in the sequel.
My #bookspinbingo board for May. I have already started my #bookspin The poppy war and also the #doubelspin The Cipher. I am vested in both of these amazing books. Trying to get a double bingo for the first time.

The past few months had been too hectic for me. I was unable to concentrate properly. Now I have a lot of free time on my hands and would love to dive into my books headfirst :) and what better way to read than #bookspin and #bookspinbingo.
Hope to finish a lot of these this time.

Okay so Mr Holmes and I have something in common. The sleeping schedules. Why are nights so beautifull, full of peace and tranquility. But then you don't get to see your freinds that often which sucks a lot. 😂😅
A nice fast-paced book. I bought this just because the cover looked rad to me and the name sounded interesting. The illustrations were really nice.
The last month sucked big time. could not finish my #bookspin book, no bingos, destroyed by phone, screwed an interview. I just don't know what to do. Reading calms me down but right now can't concentrate. I am utterly confused. Things generally don't go my way, this month being the perfect example of it.
Unbelievable that a child so young can write so good. Amazing read though a bit slow at times but still it is a good book. Liked it.
No doubt I am gripped by this novel but the pace of the story is not my style. It is quite slow for me. Still trying to complete it. Will take the whole next week if i have the patience 😅.
A few chapters in and I am totally gripped by the novel. Should have read it earlier😅.

These stories are very easy see throughs and easy to guess at. The original are far better and comprehensible. If we isolate these form them even then these stories don't stand there ground, the only respite is that these are quite short and can be read very quickly. Instead of reading these read the original ones. I actually have a habit of re-reading the original stories and novels after very couple of months.
My #bookspinbingo board. Hoping to score multiple bingos this time.

My list for #bookspinbingo. Hoping to get a Bingo this time around.
Happy reading everyone.
This month was so much fun for me. I did read my #doublespin but could not get my head down for the #bookspin book. I missed my bingo by just one book so will be trying extra hard to get one again.

Thanks for hosting this event @thearomaofbooks
I read 6 books for my goal of 4 so that was nice, reduced my Tea Intake to 2 cups a day.
My Goals for Feb are -
1 Read atleast 5 books
2 Score a bingo on #bookspinbingo
3 Reduce soda to just once a week
4 Exercise daily.
Thanks for hosting @wanderinglynn
I had high hopes for the story but it fell short of it. Mostly because the many twists were clear see-throughs, many questions were unanswered or rather had really vague explanations and in some cases none at all. The vagueness of breakins and killings is too uncanny for the level of depth percieved. It is surely intriguing and gripping but it is too shallow at points. I don't think i would follow up with series.
So I feel like a idiot for not posting it. I had actually bought the kindle paperwhite the very day when fellow listy members gave me thier inputs and suggestions. It's been 3 days and i have been busy with it, like a child with a new toy. I am in absolute love with this thing. I have almost doubled up my reading time. This has been the best descion so far for me. Again lots of thanks to all the people for thier inputs.
I have been planning on getting one since ages. Finally i am but little advice from listy community would be valuable.
Finally got to read the first book of 2021. Was able to resd it in two sittings but finding the two was a tough ask. Now about the book -
It's a proper war jorunnal of sorts. With the descriptions regarding every little bit explained with easy language and filled with adrenaline. The conditions in which the soldiers have to survive to tactics they use is astonishing. It really does show that war is never the answer to anything. Continued 👇
Finally Got some spare time after the hectic 10 days of the Year. My #bookspinbingo board. I have not started anything as of now but would first read Sniper one. It looks quite interesting to me. Hoping against hope to get to get bingo this month.
Happy reading everyone.
Found some gems in my grandma's attic.
Murphy's law is one amazing book which I was looking for but could not find it anywhere. The book does have some pages loose but are still in fine condition without any tear. A little binding and it will good as new.
My #bookspin list for the month January. Its been two months since I last participated in this. I have added equal parts fiction and Non-fiction and would love to start reading again. Thanks Sarah for hosting this in 2021 again.
This is not related to any book. I just wanted to thank the listy fam for helping me through this year. It has been an incredibly bad one for me at all fronts. The silver lining is this app, which helps me to get new recommendations and listens to my inferior reviews. I don't have much reader friends so this has been a big blessing for me. Reading is not always enough sometimes you want to talk about them and this is exactly what I needed.
At last a Bingo. Could have tried reading the one with 3 free spaces but just couldn't read those one. But I am quite happy with getting a bingo. My #bookspin the Librarian of Auschwitz was a masterpiece for me, I loved it throughly. I have started my #doublspin Kargil (9) but will not be able to complete it in time so won't add here. And as always a big thanks to @TheAromaofBooks for hosting this marvellous event.
Happiness is getting so many bookmarks with your order. I really loved the Winter Is Coming. Would use it while reading A Clash of Kings.
My #bookspin done. This month reading has been scarce. I just couldn't read. Coming to the book, I am gonna be honest. I had some idea about it but didn't know about the exact details of such camps and the sentiments of people kept there. I was stunned reading this. The cruelty and insensitivity of the nazi regime left me utterly shocked and stunned. But the the courage shown by the people, the light of hope in such atmosphere is just amazing. ⬇️
