1. I‘m retired (disabled due to post concussive syndrome, vertigo and several other issues due to an accident). So I hate the chronic migraines (15+ each month) and the frequent falls.

2. The tagged. Bonnie‘s boss certainly doesn‘t make it easy to enjoy her job as a checkout assistant.

She liked the tagged book (as did I) so I chose to read another Morgan Christmas book for the readathon.

Being sick the past two days has allowed me plenty of reading time. I‘ve finished three of my picked books and hope to finish the rest.

Sharing isn‘t always caring. Hubby shared his cold with me complete with sore throat, fever, cough and congestion. I may try to get out and walk on the beach later when it‘s pretty much deserted and soak up some vitamin D. Until then, I‘ll be reading for #Sharreadathon and sleeping.

I love Sarah Morgan and this book didn‘t disappoint. A wonderful cast of characters and setting. A Scottish family coming together for Christmas, each with their own worries & plans. The grandmother is hilarious. My favorite read so far this month.

Book 2 in the Busybodies Collection. Fun and well executed. I listened to this one and enjoyed the narration. The ending surprised me. Well done. I‘ll need to check out more books by this author.

Very much a soft pick for me. Overall I enjoyed it but it dragged at times and Wimsey sure does prattle on. I‘m not opposed to reading more in the series but it‘s definitely not a reading priority.

This was a fun middle grade book featuring three friends. When one may need to move, they decide to try and solve a puzzle in hopes of finding treasure so they can stay together. Book #2 has an October release date.

Told from Chet‘s (🐶) POV.
Chet and his private investigator human, Bernie, look for a missing teen girl. I love the relationship between Bernie & Chet and I found Chet‘s inner monologue very entertaining.
This one checked off several boxes for me.

I loved book 10 in this series. Not only is it New Year‘s in New York with all the usual sights, but characters from the previous books are also in NYC. You get updates on where those characters are in their lives in such a nice way. It was really very well done.

1. Enjoying the time we have with Sami before she has to fly back to the states for spring semester

2. We had the entire beach to ourselves this morning. Days without cruise ships are great for empty beaches.

3. Stopped at my favorite coffee shop and enjoyed my coffee and chocolate croissant on the beach.

4. I love when the cows get out and wander down the road nearby. 🐮

This challenge has really helped me read ebooks I already own. My goal each month is to read four books from the list. I‘m ok if I read less and anything more than four is just a bonus.
